Happiness of the Day

In another forum I used to frequent, there was a happiness of the day thread where folks would post something that made them happy and they wanted to share it with everyone. Thought we could use it here.

My happy:
My boyfriend wanted to send me some money to me for my birthday so I could go have a special dinner, or cake or something. He's so sweet.

He is a sweetheart Nothing really happy for me today.

We got a call from a repair crew to fix our old house! Thank goodness..but we have to go to St. Cloud tomorrow to sign papers. Oh well...I get KFC for lunch on the road!

My "happy" was coming home today (and it was actually still light out!) and looking out at the heated bird bath on my deck railing, with all the different birds hanging out and drinking and splashing.... It's so cold out that there is steam coming off the water and it looks like a little bird spa.

My happy was the most beautiful sunset I've seen in a long time - an orangish pink with silhouettes of many palm trees in that direction.

My happiness today is that I wake up with raccoon eyes from not taking make-up off last night, curly hair in 50 directions like Tina Turner, with my bleach-stained night clothes on, leaning on the bar with my coffee trying to wake up while all the kids are making their daily requests - "Where are my socks?", "Can I have creamed corn for breakfast?", "What time are we leaving for the dance tonight?", etc.

My husband is staring at me while he's drinking his coffee, and I say "what?". Then he tells me I am undeniably the most beautiful woman he's ever seen (and bless his heart, he means it). Geez..... what a great way to start the day!

Totally awesome start of the day, you lucky "undeniably most beautiful woman"! Sounds like your MIL brought her son up properly to appreciate and love his wife as he does. Does he have a single brother, LOL?

That's the problem with men..sometimes they are so sweet and cute it makes you want to take the bullets out of the gun!

my happy today is that the repair man said that he could talk the insurance guy out of a bit more money and fix the house..saving us the deductable! Happy, happy...but that's not all I got lunch out...joy joy!

Such wonderful happies today! My happy of the day is that I got to spend some nice time with the boyfriend in IMs today. Another happy is that, while my roomie is sick, I picked her up early and don't have to leave the house again!
