Building a sailboat? that is SO cool. I wouldn't worry about the swearing- i think that's just a requirement of building it. It means he's paying attention. But....having the kayak along for the first couple of trips is not a bad idea at all. (do you have pictures of the sailboat being built? I'd love to see the process)

My happy for the day: A couple weeks ago i gave a friend one of my smokestik pitbull batteries and a carto to try on her own time. She's tried a couple of puffs from all of my PVs, but never gone any further. (I haven't pushed it because i know how it works out when people try to push me). I just got an email from her saying that she might be ready for the "fake cig" and that she kind of likes the one she has. YAY!!!!

I love sailing...it is such a free feeling to be out on the water, away from everyone.....if you get out far enough, the treat to your ears is amazing........if you go out of sight of land.....phenominal.....we snuck up on a sleeping whale once by accident, we spotted each other at the same tiime---and she breached ! Once in a lifetime moment !!!

safety person that I am---life jackets !!!

Here is a pic of the boat that I took yesterday. I wish it was bigger. I wanted a yacht but he said his GEO wouldn't pull it.

Nice job! I've tried to convert a couple of friends but they just don't seem interested so I've quit trying with them.

tm, swearing just means he needs alone time with his boat or whatever he's building.

Alone time is what he get's. When he starts throwing things I leave. He's the same way when building houses and this is the main reason I haven't helped much on the boat. He's pretty quiet, shy and laid back when he's not building something.

I love being out on the water too. I've been out far enough in my kayak that all I can hear is the water lapping at my boat. I love the silence. As far as life jackets...I would wear 2 if I could but he will only put his on if the boat is about to sink.

That's pretty amazing TM!! Beautiful sailboat-to-be.

I hope you have a great party Fudgey!

(My friend has been thinking about vaping for about 18 months now- it's taken her awhile to decide to give it a try. I don't try very hard to convert people- cause that sort of thing always makes me back away. If they see it work and want to try, I'll do anything i can to help- but it's the person's decision to try it or not)

Nice sailboat, tmcase! I'm with you on the bathroom facilities.

Classy, that's a nicely sized grill. I actually never graduated from the large Weber kettle grill. It'd be nice to have one with a hinged cover, at the very least!

My happiness today is rather frivolous, but makes me happy nonetheless: it's a bottle of pewter-colored metallic (but not sparkles......that's just going too far!!!!!!) nail polish. I'm going to stay home and do my toes tonight!

Happiness today: Waiting on my Grandson so we can do a Potterthon before we go to the movie tomorrow! Gotta love G'kids. :)
Oh and this is the 18 year old. I get to do it all over again as soon as my younger grandson gets home from visiting family up north. As he says "I am waiting to go with you, G'ma, It's a tradition!"
