When I was growing up, this forum would be old enough to drink!

Seriously though, here's to ECF. You made it possible for at least one person, and I suspect many more, to finally be able to quit smoking for good.

You were still but a toddler when I stumbled upon you (late 2011), and it's been truly wonderful watching you grow & mature into a fine young adult.

Thank you all (@classwife , @retired1 , @Misty , and please forgive me for not knowing all of the current mods, but am also mentally including truly-unforgettable Robin). You made and make a difference, and are appreciated.

:toast:

Just 5 minutes ago, or was it yesterday, I thought to start a Happy Birthday thread for our beloved ECF, then changed my mind and decided to wait til the 20th anniversary.

As life would have it, and without prior knowledge, my vape Bestie (and dear friend) made the same decision, other than the waiting 2 years part.

Thank you, DPL. And HUGE THANKS to all of you who run ECF, and participate in ECF - you have become vape buddies of a decade plus. This forum has meant more to me than words could ever describe... <3

To those we've lost, you are not forgotten.

@DPLongo22 and @Katdarling and all
Wowzer!
18 years!
So many great people have trudged through these halls. Many still here, many moved on, faded away and several have passed on. Some great friendships made.
The opportunities to meet some in person when there were get-togethers, much fun!
The oddest thing to me is how you can come to truly love people that you have never met in real life.
I really have no idea if I would have almost 16 years without a cigarette if not for having ECF to keep me involved.

I think ECF has the greatest and most helpful people, y'all are amazing!

I was late to the party but not very late. If it weren't for Smokey Joe and ECF I might still be smoking. I got so much help here, as we all did, that even though there were a few false starts, I finally did quit. FOR GOOD. Don't think I've used nic for over a year. That happened by accident, I'm trying to keep it going because I don't remember exactly how to make the juice and lost the computer program.

Everybody remember back in the day when there'd open chats with SmokeyJoe and people were posting so fast that you'd post something, refresh and it'd already moved a page or two on. I had dialup at the time and Robin and I were left in tears from laughing so hard. I so miss her. :nun:

This is were I met DavidOK, and having some common interests we became PM Pals.

Everybody remember when we'd all be yacking in Gen, Vaping and someone would STORM in and say the were newbs needing help here and there and we'd all dash off to help?

Wish we had some ballpark number for how many were able to quit because of ECF.

Happy 18th Birthday and on to another 18!

@zoiDman You've been here a while, come join the party!

Happy 18th Birthday ECF!

Without you, I wouldn't have made it this far!
I haven't been on this forum in many years, but I realized today how much I missed it and what a difference it made in my life. For the better!

I'm going to be a regular again, because, let's face it... Vaping isn't smoking, and I'm in this for life.
