After smoking for 47 years my mom told me today she wants me to help her place an order tomorrow:thumb: Some of you might remember I gave her some supplies a while back. Last week she decided to give vaping a good try and found she really enjoys it. She said she has only had a couple of cigs a day. I am so happy :) I'm sure my dad will be vaping next. He said hes going to see how mom does. I think he has been smoking for over 50 years.

I'm so happy to hear about your mom! What a great Thanksgiving you're going to have. Good luck to your dad, too!

Thank you all, I will keep you posted on how things go. And yes this is the best Christmas gift ever. I have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving also.

SNM Don't give up hope. It took my mom a while to really give it a try. I just left her with the tools and let her be. I would share with her how I was doing and what I have read and learned here. If she asked questions I'd answer them. I just let her do it on her own I didn't want to push her.

She did call me tonight to let me know she droped my auto batt I left with her today and the light will not go out. (I had given her an auto and manual batt she likes the autos) I started LOL so hard because I had done the same thing a few weeks ago. Its the replacement batt Steve had sent me. I also gave her the shortie Steve sent she loves it wants one in every color.

NMJ, this is terrific! You can also tell your dad for me that I was able to totally quit a 38-year 2 pack/day habit within 2 days of vaping. And I had literally tried every cessation product on the market without success. Now I breathe better, feel better, can even jog and run without getting winded. Plus it's really nice that this lady no longer smells like an ashtray.

When I started, I did not seriously think I would quit smoking -- but thought it would be nice to have an alternative for those situations/places where you can't smoke and you could at least stealth vape to get your nicotine fix. Boy, was I wrong. I liked it so much it only took me a couple of days to leave the analogs for good.

Good luck to your mom -- if she sticks with it, she'll probably put the pressure on your dad to at least give it a try.

SNM, all we can do is tell people about it. Your dad can still come around though, so don't give up. He might just be watching you to see if you have a relapse. Not fair, I know, but that's what people do, even our parents.

My 77-yo mom is dying of end-stage lung cancer and doesn't have much time left. I bought her a kit a couple months ago, but it was just too late for her. But it's not too late for most folks, so we have to keep telling people about this fantastic product.
