Happy Mother's Day to all the wonder PIF moms and Like A Moms. You don't have to give birth to be a Mom - and I know we have a couple on here who I consider great Moms - regardless of how it came to be. Some even have XY chromosomes

I am thankful every day that my Mom is still with me. But for those that have lost their mother, I found this poem...
If flowers grow in heaven Lord - then pick a bunch for me
Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me.

Happy Mother's day to my Momma who was taken far too soon and to all the wonderful Moms we have here at PIF. I know my child has been the most amazing person to every come into my life and I am so very proud and thankful to have this little one who calls me "Mommy". To be able to celebrate this day as a Mother myself is the greatest gift that I can imagine.

Before I was a Mom -
I slept as late as I wanted and never worried about how late I got into bed. I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday.
Before I was a Mom -
I cleaned my house each day. I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never been puked on - Pooped on - Spit on - Chewed on, or Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and My thoughts. I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom -
I never held down a screaming child so that doctors could do tests...or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom -
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life
so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known The warmth, The joy, The love, The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.
Happy Mother day we all are the lucky ones it have these little joys in our life's.

My 3 ( 16,19 & 31yrs) are wearing me OUT this last week or so
& will continue to do so next week !!
My mom & I went to the racetrack/casino this afternoon...
WAS FUN & nice to get away from the house!

There's so much I want to say, and I can't find the words. It's been a wonderful, heartbreaking day. I was recently reunited with my boy Charlie via facebook. We spent hours today on skype, crying together. The story is long and twisted, he is not the child of my body, but of my heart, I was never able to have children. I love him as much as any mother could. The joy in finding him alive and in a happy relationship has filled my heart so full it feels ready to burst.
I am typing this from my mother's laptop at her house. My mother is a blessing I cherish, and i love her more than I can ever express.
I'm broke. My health is bad. My temp job just ended with nothing else in sight.
I am the luckiest person on earth.

I'm an hour late but I still wanted to chime in. Happy Mothers Day to all of our awesome moms! I hope you all had lovely days! And Atsirk - you made me cry! I'm so happy for you that you found your boy!
