I ordered on Wednesday, July 4th and had it in hand by Saturday, July 7th. Now that is what I call a great shipping service. I had been using a Lavatube prior to getting the Provari, and thought it was a good PV but now am really surprised at the difference between the two. The Provari is so much more enjoyable than the LT, and the difference in the power is staggering. I thought that my settings of 4 - 4.4 on the LT was giving me a good vape until I got the Provari, wow what a difference. Alright enough of the praises of the Provari, now for some questions for some of you longer time users of the Provari. Has anyone while vaping away had the screen light up like you had hit the button for a PU or PD? And also, has any one had trouble with the battery connection where the atomizer or tank goes tilting from side to side a bit and having to readjust it to get it straightened back up?

I've accidentally triggered the screen by taking several short puffs / button presses too quickly. I notice because instead of getting vapor, I find myself stepping through power levels. Pretty rare though..

Have dropped mine many times, and a few times saw major bending, but it turned out to be in an adapter I was using thankfully. The 510 connection is pretty darn solid, I suspect you'd mess up threads before it bent.

Yea the connector is the strongest most aligned connector on any mod in existance . Its a solid chunk of stainless steel which is pretty much unbreakable, bendable or strippable. Most mods are using a soft nickel plated brass.

As for the screen lighting up it is because your pressing the fire button 4 times too quickly and going into the menu. It happens on occasion when taking a bunch of quick vapes in a row.

Or if you don't use firm, consistent pressure when pushing the button to vape. If the pressure wavers, it starts to go automatically into menu mode.

Ah, this explains times that happened to me where I was pretty sure I didn't just take 5 quick puffs. Thanks for the info!

Yup... it was happening to me all the time until I stopped and thought about it. Now I'm much more deliberate in my button pressing and the issue has disappeared. It's because the menu is activated by pressure changes in the button. You push it 5 time and you go to PU. Well, if your finger wobbles on the button when your vaping, you could be changing the pressure and next thing you know, you're in PU mode or -- mode lol.

I once wrote some low level C code that interfaced with an arcade style coin receiver. About a third of the time it would register extra coins. I ended up writing code that ignored additional coins if they appeared too soon. A similar approach would work here by ignoring button presses that are either shorter or quicker than humans can do...

The idea is ok but i dont think it would work for a consumer product since many people would be complaining about misfiring even though its there to help them.IMO its not really a issue expecially to make big changes about. I rarely ever have that happen unintentionally. I also love that it can do that because when i put on a new carto or atty and want to change the voltage i usually take a few small pulls so im already in the menu by the time i take it out of my mouth. So basically i use that as a benefit.

I didn't mean to ignore in terms of firing the PV, just that if there was a 20ms or so delay between counting five clicks to bring up the menu. Either way, it isn't a huge deal and I'm not advocating to make that change. I was just trying to mention one possible solution. Happy Vaping
