Mid 80's here today. tank top and shorts with sandals weather. You really wouldn't have been amused.

Koa reminds me of Hawaii. Was fortunate to get this for Valentine's. In penance I had to go shopping at IKEA with her. We went out to eat before that.

Proof that I went to Ikea. My youngest daughter Piper is in the pic.

That's awesome, what you have today we should have in a few days.

Did you get the mid 70's we had a week ago? I bet not...the weather is making me cranky. Snows so hard and so much in the mountains the world skiing event has to have delays left and right. Here? Partly cloudy and 65.

And cooling vests don't work. I need my head cold, and the core temp doesn't get cold enough to make it to my brain as it's so hot normally. Think of my brain as a sprained ankle with a fever. It's super hot so anything over 45 I can enjoy until 65 with no activity. As soon as I start working though it better be 20. I've been known to work in just my T-shirt as I load the big kiln outside. My helpers are all bundled up and freezing and I'm taking handfuls of snow to my jugular veins.

there are cooling "scarves" that would cool the blood going to your brain.
also cooling your kidney's might be effective as literally all your blood has to go through your kidney's at some point...

We have those cooling scarves at work and they work pretty good at making you feel cooler on the hot days.

I have those, the only thing that gets me through summer. Just moving around gets me too hot even in the dead of winter.

Went to work one morning and only wore a sweater, got to work and was stripping that off as I walked into the building I was so hot. Did my work and stripped down to my t-shirt. I went home like that in an unheated car. I was so peeved it was so freaking hot before the sun even came up!!!

Checked the temp and it was 8 degrees.... :headbang:

While normal standard issue here is a tin foil hat. I am sure we can make an exception for the Don.
