I have a couple family members and friends that have served or who are currently serving in the military. I have to echo previous statements and thank you all for answering our nation's call. Thank you for your dedication, your effort, and in sadder cases, your health or lives.

Happy Veterans day to all that served our country in all wars past and present. A great big Welcome Home to our present young Vets. Your deserve more than a welcome home. A special Vets day tribute to all my fallen brothers from the 101st Airborne Div 501st Infantry who gave their lives in Republic of Vietnam.

Thank You Ladies and Gentlemen who served or are serving now! It's a hard life and very rewarding! My family were all in the Military including my Husband and Dad. Both were U.S.A.F. Retired Mgst.!

I would also like to thank everyone that served our country and their families. My 2 brothers, dad, and husband were all in the army. My brother is a disabled vet, Vietnam war. Dad was WW2 and hubby Vietnam.

Please accept my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to each and every one of you for your life's personal commitment and contribution in the service of our beloved country and it's people.
America is, and always has been, so wonderfully blessed to be able to count on the brave and dedicated men and women of our military services who watch after and defend our cherished values, our hopes & dreams, our beloved freedoms...and our safety both day and night.
What I would hope everyone can remember.. especially in times of doubt, despair, or disagreement -- is that our country's military soldiers and service personnel at all levels - are drawn from and constituted by such everyday American Citizens as a brother or sister, a cousin or an aunt or uncle, a neighbor either next door or down the street. -- They are the close friends we had in school, pals we would go fishing with and friends who were once our bridesmaids or groomsmen at our wedding.
From every part of America.. and from every corner of our society.. come the very wonderful and selfless people who we as Americans depend on to stand up for us all. These are the people that this day - Veteran's Day - is all about.
I am so very proud to count a number of respected and admired Veterans as amongst my dearest friends. All of you past Veterans - along with each of your Fellow Countrymen who are actively serving currently...
... are truly such an awesome inspiration to all the rest of us.
