OK, now I'm having the hard draw prob with the type B atty. The first 30 minutes (5 or 6 good draws) or so it was fine. I pulled the cart off to wipe the condensation, put it back on and......hard draw.
Then it started leaking too.
ltrainer, where on the atty did you drill that 1/16th hole?
Well I'm still on the first one. I've put about 20ml of liquid
through it and have no change in the draw. The draw for me is
very airy, but I'm not using eGo stuff, just an 18650 mod with a connector extension.
Someone said these atties are just a standard 510 cup and coil in a plastic/nylon type sleeve and a larger bridge/mesh. I have only removed the outer metal sleeve but I don't think so. It doesn't really matter anyway.
A standard Joye 510 has 2 very small inlet holes in the threads, no way to even see if they are there on the Mega, much less drill them out. A standard Joye also has a little hole in a plastic piece right under the cup. The side thread holes feed this hole (from the notches in the batt connector). That hole can get deformed and almost sealed. The draw suffers, and in the case of my bottom feeders it keeps the liquid from getting to the business end.
Note the problem atty on the left, just begging for the drill bit. The one on the right is how it should be. Pic courtesy of Vaporer.
This hole can be very carefully, by hand, re-opened with a 1/16" bit. I've done it many times when the draw stiffens.
Then it started leaking too.
Well I'd have to put that on you. With a cart that large it will take some experimenting to get the fill amount/type just right.
I'd have to say I like these atties, the flavor is a bit different (which is fine) and the vapor is very good. The huge cart holds lot of liquid and is a breeze to top off.
