Where you least expect it....
What's your filling method? Do you prime it and how long do you let it rest afterwards? What's the VG/PG % of your e-liquid and color of it? Do you give it a rest after an X amount of drags? Just need to ask these questions so I can get a better idea of your issues at this point.

As for your adapter. Sometimes the material can affects the connection along with how far the center pin on it extends. Might be time to get yourself another adapter and see how it works out. I know that I had a problem with one of my adapters due to the material that was used to make it.

Hi,

This is filing method: Tank Tool/Filler Tip - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

Phiniac tool... Brand new cartomizer, Im not priming it, should I? Several worked without priming, but I believe theres no need to prime it.

Using normal Halo high quality juice to be sure its not a juice issue (Prime, torque, etc).

I see maybe its the adapter then... Shouldve gotten 2. I will tray yet 1 more cartomizer from another box, see if burning issue again.

Thanks a lot.

Yes, a cartomizer should always be pre-filled/primed before it's put into a tank. Otherwise, there is a high probability that it will be burnt. Which explains the issues that your having at the moment.

With the ones that you have already experienced a burnt flavor. My suggestion is to throw them in the garbage. Since, your only inhaling smoke (burning filler material) now instead of vapor. Here's an important thread that I think that all cartomizer users should read:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...1-etc-filler-type-cartos-818.html#post8613913

I'm not sure if you went through this process yet but, here are the steps to take before putting your cartomizer into a tank:

1. If it's a standard sized cartomizer. Fill it with 1ml of e-liquid and 1.5 with an XL.

2. Let it sit at least 15 minutes. Personally, I let it rest for 30 minutes.

3. Insert it into a tank and fill it up.

Afterwards, you should be good for 10 drags (or so). I would let it rest for a few minutes so it gives time for the cartomizer to "re-wick". Remember that the filler material isn't really the most important part of the cartomizer that should stay saturated. It is the piece of cotton that is wrapped around the coil. Once that gets dry then you will experience a lack in performance. Also, that's when there is the highest probability that your cartomizer will be burnt.

Another trick I would like to point out is that you can take primer puffs (without hitting the button). This will force more e-liquid into your cartomizer which speeds up the process. Be careful with this, as you can easily end up flooding your cartomizer.

EDIT: What's the ohm's of your cartomizers and what voltage are you using?

I see the heat light up inside the small carto holes, but no vape at all.

You should never see this when using a cartomizer. As I suggested earlier, you should throw that cartomizer into the trash. Your now compromising your health if you continue to vape with that cartomizer.

*** At this stage, can I try to use the cartomizer directly on the Provari or ego just to be sure its ok (and adapter ok) before I fill tank? I already filled with 1 mg of juice via syringe.

Im using Ikenvape 801 fusion cartos, these 2:

801 Mega Fusion Punch! 2.0 (I have mostly these)
801 Fusion Cartomizer LR 2.0Ω

2 ohms, Provari reads 2.8... I use 3-4.5v.

with the stealth adjustable adapter...

UPDATE: I used a new cartomizer 801 LR (reads 2.8 Ohms in Provari), followed your tips, first filled with syringe, let it set their (I waited like an hour), then I vaped it directly, worked, then I put to tank with tool. Working fine and really, although Ive suffered with cartos a bit, the amount of vapor, the taste, is really good. THANKS!!!

Thanks.

I found that the LR ones I have dont have holes :) So I didnt buy appropriate for tank, good think most I bought are the pre punched. No probs... For the LR I guess Ill just drip juice via drip tip or use syringe.

    Thanks.

Hammer-nail.................Many people have used a Saddle Valve, found at a Hardware or Plumbing supply place. I've never, and probably won't, pay someone to put a hole in my carto. You'll probably need one eventually- so remember to order one with your next order- there's lots around. $5 is all it costs.

I wanted to chime in here as well with some of my experiences. I am new to carto tanks, and have what looks to be a clone of a Smok DCT and also got a IBTanked tank, 25mm. The DCT came with a single hole pre-punched carto, and the IBTanked one came with a two hole carto. My DCT has had absolutely no issues, but the IBT one floods almost everyday, usually after sitting over night. Through the last two days, it seems the only way to "clear it, it so push the carto down just enough so I can see the bottom of the tip, pop off the ti, and let the few drops in the carto drip out the bottom. With the carto still partially removed, I pop the tip back on, and slide the carto back up, making sure not to pop the top cap off because, as someone mentioned above, this will add pressure back into the tank if the carto is through both caps and you put the top back on.

I am simply hoping this is due to it being a two hole carto, and just getting too much fluid when left sitting for long periods of time. Any way to prevent that, or just avoid the two holes if thats what the problem is?
