harsh taste from cotton wick

ok so i just finished rewicking with about a quater the cotton i was using seems to have done the trick thanks for the help you guys

I was using a microcoil and cotton setup in my kayfun for months and got occasional dry hits as well as unpredictable wicking at times.

I vape 100vg and recently started using larger diameter coils and am very pleased with the results.

No problems with wicking and much more vapor using a larger bit to wrap.

From the picture, it seems like you were using much too much cotton.

Is it a new atomizer? Some have machine oil inside and if you don't wash it good it gets a bad yucky taste.

Good call. Machine oil tastes a lot like burnt cotton. Don't ask me how I know. I soak mine in hot water with dish detergent as that will remove any oils. Lemon dawn tastes better?
