What I mean has any started with a penstyle PV went to a mod and then back to the penstyle. I started with a 510 using atomizers when I first started. I upgraded to a Riva using carto's, then to a infinity from notcigs using atomizers/clearomizers, and onto a VV box from madvapes using a tank, and now I have a various 808 batteries using carto/vortex setups. It seems as most once they get their mods only have bad things to say about the penstyle e-cigs. I can appreciate that the mods can provide more flavor, TH, and less maintenance as far as filling switching cartos go. With my PCC and 2 808 batteries I never run short on battery I always have a fresh one ready, so the battery life is a moot point in my vaping routine. For me though since I went back to the penstyle it really imitates the feel and motions of "smoking". Something that I apparently really missed with my mods but didn't realize. I picked up the Volt about 3 weeks ago and honestly I haven't touched my mods maybe 3 or 4 times since. I really got it for on the go vaping and mainly to take to work and bar scene, but now I find it becoming my main vape for even at home. I'm in no way saying it's for everyone. I understand some just aren't satisfied with the lighter flavor and throat hit that is given by the penstyles and need a mod for those aspects of vaping. I'm just curious if anyone else has had this experience as well.

I hear ya! I started on the small 510's and then went on to egos fully for nearly 2months all day every day. Then I felt I was missing that small size cig in my fingers lol. I got some 510 Megas slim still but longer than the little ones and I've been happy with them and decent cartomizers. I orders 2 of the little 510's again as well and I have PCC's for both size 510's and I prefer them. I love the funky colours and the small size more girly I guess than a fat cigar thingo lol

What magabee said-
I actually started with 510 /ego... never actually enjoyed using the Ego like I do the 510s .. used both with cartridges, then went with an Ego T, didnt work for me, then went to the egoT type B that didnt work for long either, then used the 1000 batteries with cartridges,
Next was a small mod- tiny one wich I like very much but dont use a lot..
then I found the the large 510 batteries and the 510Ts with the larger tanks then that ticked all the boxes for me anyhow. Enjoy the beautiful colours, the tanks are easy to clean as well. Having to have extra charged batteries doesnt bother me,

I have too. I started with a 510 penstyle. Then went to an ego for about 6 months. Tried a little sister and some box mods but they were more than I wanted. Then the Echo which I was very happy with but bigger than what I really wanted. Now am back to the penstyle and have been vaping a Volt penstyle 808 since August.

I went from a Blu,510, ego, 808, alphalite, and now back to my 808 cant beat it and the vapor is good flavor is great and i have my little PCC so I always have a fresh battery. I am thinking about going back to my Blu I know POS right but I loved the Blu and my 306 they are just the right size. All this in just a little more than 18 mos.

I never made the full trip around the circle. I used 808s for my first year and a half, currently using Egos, but still prefer the 808 for size. I just never felt the need for a mod; Ego is as big as I'd want to go. I also have a Piper VV Ego Passthru, and it is my primary device at home and while driving.

I'd love to see 510 batteries evolve as 808s have with the "Gen 2" products like the Volt, Bloog, and Halo G6 (including the slider PCC). Put another way, it would be great to see a 510 version of these products. I think the 510 style makes slightly more sense from a design standpoint, since the burden of space for the threads is on the battery case, rather than the cartomizer.

I haven't purchased one myself, but a friend sent me a Bloog battery and a pack of Volt cartomizers, and I'm very impressed with them, so much so that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a new e-cig user.

I'm semi circle I guess. Started with a Riva and went to mods. Once I hit vv that was it but i did pick up a volt kit a few months ago was surprised by how well it performed, especially the auto battery which I never found one I liked before it.

I use the Volt occasionally when I'm going out and don't want to sport a mod. My mods get the heavy majority of use though.

I can't imagine going back to a DSE901 (my first penstyle) or an M401 (blegh). The 510 is a possibility, but I gave most of those batteries away to friends with 510Ts.

I like my eGo batts, it's the pipe of vaping :vapor:

^^^ I'm still to young in vaping to know for sure but my first PV was an eGo and it's still my go to in the clutch. Just got my first (Big Mod) and it's cool but I think my eGo will be everywhere iGo for now.

I started with the 510 slim batt, then added the 510-t attys and tanks, then the eGo-t system. Tried cartos on the eGo and the flavor was better but I just wasn't that happy with the fat batt. Then I got a Volt kit in July and it's been the 808 Volt ever since. I kept the eGo batts and the 510 attys and tanks and use them occasionally around the house, mostly to try out new flavors since I don't like dripping. I think a lot of people don't know about the changes in the KR808's. These regulated batts have a pretty long life between charges and the horizontal coil cartos are great. It's a simple system with the same voltage as the eGo, but I like the smaller size much better.

We're all different, have different tastes in juices and also in our PVs. There's no right or wrong pv or juice, it all depends on what gives each of us the most satisfaction. The only important thing is that we are vaping instead of smoking.

So what I'm hearing here is, if I like 510 Mega's I'm going to totally love bloog or volt? I admit I have checked out both suppliers but I always have loads of 510 cartomizers lol. Can I order them from Australia? Are volt and bloog the same? Can u refill the cartomizers? What are the best cartomizers for them? How many hours does one batt last?

I started with a Riva, but had problems. I don't NEED the newest things, so I went with a Joye eGo 650 battery passthrough. I don't like messing with battery chargers, or even screw-in chargers, I just plugin/unplug all day.

If they made a 3 hour smaller battery that could run a Bogelr and be a passthru, I'd go smaller then.

I quit smoking using the old 901s years ago before mods were really available (at least I didn't run across any...). They were weak and leaky, but got me off cigs in a day anyway.

After being nicotine free for a couple years I took up smoking again for no apparent reason. I knew ecigs was the easy way to quit again, and was very happy to see some fairly cheap mods available. I got a roughstack from madvapes and quit again without much trouble.

Just recently I decided to try the cig-sized models again after reading about the improved technology. I got a pair of bloog batteries and a pack of their cartos. I've been very impressed. The vapor is strong enough, the cartos last and last, and the battery life isn't nearly as bad as expected. Plus they look way cooler...I peeled off the black matting on the cartos to match my stainless batts and put on some acrylic drip tips.

I still use my roughstack occasionally for dripping new flavors and thick juices, and I just got a Bolt for DCT tanks. I use the bloogs just as often as the mods. So I have come full circle, but the mods still serve a good purpose for testing juices and vaping for long periods hassle free.
