I fly with mine a lot. Remove batteries and put in a case in your CARRY-ON. Don't check batteries. I put a cap on juice bottle and put it in with my liquids and generally remove the atomizer. I carry it all on with me except for excess juice which I put in checked luggage (double bagged in ziplock). Never had TSA so much as bat an eye.

Why not check batteries?? OK I was just thinking to do all that but was gonna put all the extra batteries and charger in my suit case.

All my vape gear goes carryon, except the charger.
Been flying a lot with my Reo - I DO recommend removing and capping the juice bottle - the time I didn't, it didn't leak a LITTLE, it totally drained the bottle up through the atty, lol.

So I remove the bottle and put an empty on there.
I remove the battery, just cuz.
I leave the atty in place, but wrap it in tissue, just to catch any tube-juice that goes up and out.

NO trouble from TSA though - they don't even blink when I go through security with a Reo, a 'Vari, a bunch of liquid and batteries...all in a laptop or satchel kind of bag.

No problem travelling with a reo at all (and that includes the doofuses at YVR, dman). Sometimes they ask what it is, but they were honestly more concerned about the battery packs for charging any device via a USB (eg, cell phone, tablet) than any vape gear.

Do take the advice about juice leak prevention, tho.

Even though many folks fly with no issues at all, things change constantly. I have no plans to fly, but if I did, I would have a small prestamped priority box self addressed either to my home or where I was going, just in case. Anyone tries to take anything, in the box it goes, and drop it in a mail box. Just wouldn't take any chances.

I fly all the time, enough to earn Priority status for life. I carry 2 to 3 Reos with batteries installed, a case with 3 to 5 more batteries and 3 30ml bottles of juice in my 3-1-1 baggie.

2 Reos have empty bottles, 1 almost empty as I head to the airport, that way I can stealth vape. Right before boarding I dump out the little bit of juice in the one bottle. All of them have a fresh squonk on the wick.

The fresh squonk allows two things, first when I get off the plane I can vape until I get a chance to refill the bottles. The 2nd involves small airports, you're much more likely to have TSA inspection and want to check your carry on at small airports than the big ones, even without Reos in it. Once in 4 years I have had TSA ask about my Reos and when I said e-cig they asked me to vape it, thus the juice on wicks, this was at a tiny airport with 3 gates in the middle of nowhere.

I flew home yesterday from Bonaire, in Curacao, they saw the REO and asked to inspect my bag. Looked it over, asked what it was, and sent me on my way. I had the same thing happen a year ago with an MVP2. On domestic flights they have never so much as batted an eye at my vape gear.

I travel regularly, about 40,000 to 50,000 miles a year. I empty all juice from my REO's double zip lock bag them and my juice and put them in my checked baggage. I have an inexpensive itaste VV that I load up and take with me on the plane. All batteries go in carry-on per TSA guidelines. Could probably take the REO's onboard with me, but I just never thought it was worth the chance, besides I like the itaste VV for stealth vaping and enjoy the change of pace. As soon as I get to the hotel the REO's are filled and batteries installed.
