I'd love to ask this in the DIY liquid forum, but I'm too new.

I went to Walmart today looking for glycerin (got that) and flavorings. All I found was regular Tone's and one called Watkins. It only came in vanilla, but they did make a double strength vanilla (which I bought).

The ingredients are...
water
glucose
propylene glycol
vanilla extract (alcohol, extract of vanilla bean, water)
alcohol 8.25%
artificial flavors
caramel color

would this be okay to mix with the glycerin and a bit of flavored 18 nic juice? I want a weak nic juice, but with good flavor.

Also, I picked up a bag of poly batting, and then I noticed the foam paintbrushes. They say they're "poly" brushes.I kind of figured they'd be pretty absorbant for cartridge fill since they do have to hold paint. Maybe?

Hi there,
I've read that you should not use anything with sugar/glucose because it clogs the atomizer.
This is what was said in the eliquid forum:
Check ingredients before you buy, they aren't all suitable. Alcohol (ethanol), propylene glycol, glycerine and flavourings are probably ok to vapourise. Oil, sugars and colourings are probably not ok. I don't know if they affect atomisers, I'm still trying them out.

Also i wouldn't try the foam brushes. I never heard of anyone else using them.

You need pro strength flavorings to make eliquids, not extracts. Some Walmarts do sell some Loranns. But you need to be familiar with the Lorann list to know which are not water soluble and which have ingredients that shouldn't be vaped etc. That info is all in the DIY section of ECF as well as info about the other popular brands of professional flavorings like Flavor Apprentice, Flavourart and others.
