Has anyone tried bamboo wicks?

I just recieved some bamboo wick 1.5mm. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this?
How does it vape? What is a good set-up for me to run. Looking to test this on an octopus rda or igo-L

I bought some but the size I wound up with is very thin. I would have to braid it to make it useable. I bought hemp at the same time and enjoy the taste and durability to be good as well.

I used bamboo for a long time rebuilding Vivi Novas. I like it better than cotton. Flavor is better to me.

This is something new, to me, haven't heard about bamboo wicks yet. Something new to try? Where can I get some?

Braided it and and made a 3.5mm size looking wick. Boiled it for 10 minutes and let it air dry for a couple hours. Then installed it on my nimbus clone Dual air holes (5/67) with 28g kanthal and hitting 0.6 ohms. Vapes like a champ!
Hard to determin taste. It works like silica and cotton put together. Very cheap and well worth it.
Wal mart or a craft store even carries it.

Make sure to purchase 100% hemp all natural in white color. Havn't tried the light brownish looking ones yet. will update soon
