Has Anyone Tried Strix Elixirs?

Saw these guys reviewed on Spinfuel. They are apparently 2 of the 3 founders of vape Dudes with their own digs now. Anyway, they offer pre-steeped liquid. Spinfuel is giving them glowing reviews, but I don't know how I feel about that. They tend to give Everyone glowing reviews and I have disagreed more than once.

Will probably give them a try; they're very reasonably priced. Would like to hear if anyone else out there has had them before though.

I have tried them. IMO, they are great.
Pixie Dust = pixie stix dust vapor, really nice
Banana Slam = Banana Runt candy super smooth
Applegasm = apple jolly rancher {spot on!)
Butter shot = Butter Rum lifesavers (awesome)
Black honey cream = pretty good, berry and cream flavor, not for me

Just ordered espresso and hazelnut cookie.... Will let you know how they are.

I also liked them pretty well. I've tried:
Hazlenut cookie
Espresso Dream- no burnt taste at all
Lychee Delight- tastes like a pear but stronger
Buttershot(my niece ordered this one)
Black Honey Cream

Lychee Delight and Espresso dream will probably be reorders. Strix Elixirs will be in February's Zamplebox so I'm waiting to see if I get a coupon in my Zamplebox first.

Update from me...

Espresso Dream - Incredible Espresso flavor!! Zero burn taste as yorkiegirl stated. A great morning vape with coffee.

Hazelnut Cookie - All I can say is... Oh Hell! I feel like there should be some calories involved with this one! This is an all day vape for me!

Sorry for another post on them but color me impressed. I'm vaping "Black Honey Cream" right now and hot damn, this is some of the tastiest juice I've EVER tried. $5 a bottle, people. Where can you go wrong? By far, one of the most unpretentious vendors currently out there. These guys are solid.

Thanks for the replies. I had forgotten about this thread and it didn't initially get any replies but it just popped up in a search I just did and here you all are! I have an order on the way from them, excited to try them.

Got these in today. It was really nice to just let them warm up a bit (it's COLD here!) and then load em up. I LOVE pre-steeped and would buy only that if it were more readily available.

Overall impression: Keep in mind this is early on. I usually need to vape a few mLs before I totally decide on a liquid. NONE are light in flavor. They aren't subtle, faint, or otherwise lacking. I am, however, detecting a noticeably similar background flavor. Not bad, just enough that you can say yep, they are from the same vendor. They are performing well..decent vapor and wicking well. I have them loaded up in evods right now which is what I like to sample from. I'm using a VTR, a 134 and a vamo..2.2 ish coils. 8-9 watts.

Butter Shot: Pretty sure this is going to be my favorite so far. This is a creamy butterscotch..more buttershots schnapps with cream than little yellow hard candy disk. Quite tasty!

Eggnog: Sweet cream with nutmeg and cinnamon. This is also quite tasty! I would not, however, vape it and immediately think eggnog. There is a sweet rum hint in here too I think. Did I say butter shot was my favorite? I might be wrong. It doesn't taste like eggnog to me, but whatever it is, it's very nice.

Vanilla Ice Cream: This is for sure not light on the vanilla. It is probably the strongest, sweetest vanilla I have ever had. That said, I'm actually kind of on the fence if I like it for sure. It's almost *too* much, if that's possible. This is the first vanilla I've had since trying Nicoticket and I prefer the NT. It doesn't have a perfumey or alcohol flavor, but it's artificial vanilla not the real deal, to my buds.

Black Honey Cream: This is quite nice. Very sweet blackberry, but definitely a blackberry candy and not natural fruit flavor. That's honestly about all I can say to describe it. Definitely in your face.

So to sum it up..they are definitely worth a reorder for the top two, and I will be trying other flavors as well. If you're one of those folks looking for really bold flavors, these guys are DEFINITELY worth a shot. No noted chemical/alcohol/perfume funkiness in any.

And the drip tips were great too

I received Frozen Tundra in the most recent Zamplebox - I'm not a menthol fan at all and ended up giving it to a buddy of mine, but there was definitely no lack of flavor and vapor production was really good. I dripped it in a Patriot with a micro coil at just under 1ohm - I will say that I wouldn't want to drink any OJ with this juice - it tasted quite a bit like I was brushing my teeth.

I saw that they were putting menthol in the zamplebox this month. Kind of an odd choice to get yourself out there, IMO. I have a feeling they'd have gotten a better response with one of their more unique flavors..maybe the butter shots or blackberry..or even the hazelnut cookie (I haven't tried that one yet but hear good things). I mean, menthol is pretty standard from what I've tried..it tastes like..menthol. Why not show off your skill in making more unique flavors? /shrug.

I'm a supertaster so if you are one beware, all of the liquids that I tried were very perfumey.
