Has anyone tried the AGA Tiamat PLUS w/Glass Tank

Same here for drilling out the wick holes. I live in an apt with little to no tools or skills. have drilled all my wick holes open with a cheap 20 dollar hand drill, a 5 dollar set of cheap china bits, and literally vegetable oil as my lube and coolant.

I hope this isn't too much of a newbie question but how do you take this thing apart to swap the tanks? I just got this as my first rba and I'm already stumped at swapping the plastic for a glass tank lol.

You just screw the top metal cap counter-clockwise and it should come apart.

So I tried a very solid 400 wick in my AGAT2 after hearing some people rave about them. It wicked just OK for me, but after a day with it I was done. So this morning I rolled a straw wick 40x50mm around a fat paper clip, tossed a 4/5 32 twisted coil on it. 1.3 ohms at 4.1v on my provari and its wicking like a dream and putting out great vapour. Flavour is good but its brand new this morning. All in all my best set up yet since getting it two weeks ago.

This was my first RBA and I think I'm gonna order an RSST soon cause I finally found a site in Canada that has them in stock.

Thanks, I tried unscrewing at first but it didn't want to budge and I didn't want to use too much force and break something. It was on there pretty tight but it's off now.

its not a newbie question imo. I tore up my insulator when I got my first aga-t.

IMO nows a good time to tear it all apart for a good cleaning. Make note of how the center tube is positioned tho.

No problem. I should have mentioned that you should remove the three small nuts on the pos post and remove it first before you unscrew the top cap. I know you said you got yours apart so you probably already know this.

It really is! Can't believe I waited this long to get a genesis. I've been rebuilding nova heads forever so the learning curve was fairly easy. This thing vapes my face off....and I like it.

Check. She's squeaky clean.

I wasn't sure but I figured they would need to come off.

After a few hrs watching some vids and playing with the coil;


It's not pretty but 1.6 ohms and pretty even glow on the coils. Now just need to fill it up and try it out.

This seems like a good thread to ask if anyone fills their tanks up full. Any picture I've seen has them about halfway full. I've done both and found if it's too full, the juice is kinda nasty by the end. If I only do halfway, I fill a lot more (annoying to cart a syringe around) and if it gets too low, dry hits start to happen frequently and are NASTY. Man those don't taste or feel good on the throat.

I personally fill mine to full then vape it half way down. Then I fill it to full again and vape that till the juice doesn't taste great any more, drain and repeat.

I just ordered my first rebuildable from kidney puncher. it comes with a polycarbonate tank and a glass tank. I also ordered some stainless steel mesh and,28. kanthal. then I stopped at Home Depot to buy a blow torch for $25. I am so excited to build my first one. any tips?

You will find that when your wick is not over oxidized and it is rolled solid, you can fill the tank to the top and vape it bone dry with good flavor throughout.
