I am actually waiting on a Squape clone myself (glass tank), its coming from China, and no idea who the manufacturer is, but I will investigate that further once I have it in hand. Many of the earlier Squape clones coming out of China, specifically those with the glass tank, had issues with internal short. This is supposedly worked out, so my fingers are crossed.

Argh! I didn't know there was a clone out there with a glass tank. I should have held out. I don't vape liquids that are generally known to crack tanks, but I'd like the idea of security in NOT having to even worry about that.

Please post once you receive it and get it working. I'll post re: the EHPRO too.

I get it, the same here. For the most part I vape "non-crackers", but I do have one e liquid that will crack a poly tank, so glass is nice to have on at least a few of my RBA's. And I will definitely come back with an update once I get it, hopefully by Monday/Tuesday next week :nun: ...

I look forward to hearing how the ehpro squape is.. I bought the first one that had a glass tank from FT, I think it's winsmoke. they are now discontinued because the failure rate was 90% lol. I however got lucky and mine works perfect! one of my favorite atty's :) right up there with the best, kayfun, taifun etc. I wish you luck.

I got mine from FastTech and Focal ecig. They're easy to build, look nice, don't have to drain the tank to fix the wick(lots of mistakes the first several builds), etc, BUT they're too heavy(both of mine are glass). They're so heavy, I almost never use them. They just don't improve the vape enough, for me to put up with the annoyance of them being so top heavy.

I have real squape and clone from Focal ecig. I never had a chance to try out the clone since the glass tank came broken and they have not responded.. But from the outside the build quality seems on par but top cap is more beveled on the real squape. Also the knurling on the bottom is not as deep on the clone. The deck looked good as well, but as mentioned above I was never able to run it so not sure on deck and the conductivity issues.

I am about to use the clone to practice drilling to open this sucker up as the draw on real squape is real tight.

Both definitely heavy and big.

I have the squape clone from Focal Ecig, and I'd have to say it's %95 perfect. the last two atomizers have been dreams to work on, and they've put my Kayfun lites in the closet. The Squape clone from Focal Ecig is the version I have. The problem with earlier ones, was they coated the center part too far, but that was fixable. These, they seemed to correct. The width is slightly larger than 22mm, like the original. It's by far one of the heaviest and largest atomizers I have, but it also holds a tonne of juice. 510 connector is the right size, and most of my drip tips fit it. It has a glass tank and copper center pin. Air inlets are through the 510, and I use the 510 adjustment to regulate the airflow on my nemesis, but it leaves a slight gap for air. On a flush system, it is too tight of an airflow, so a slight gap might be needed. To fill it, you take it off the mod and fill it along the side like you would a CE5 or an Aqua. The chimney uses a hex head to remove, which is done only for cleaning (nice option/design feature). Cotton only needs to run straight to the juice channels, and I've had almost no gurgles... Only slight gurgles when it starts to run low. I've not yet had a dry hit with it, and that's after owning it for 2 weeks. once you take the deck off to refill, you can also remove the drip tip, and it will sit on the table like a small cup. the deck can be worked on, or you fill it. I don't know what coating they put on the deck and chimney, but it seems non conductive and well coated. The screw leads actually grip and hold the kanthal real well... it's almost as if it grabs and holds it. Either thumb screws or a flat head will tighten it.

The downsides:
It's large and heavy... Very heavy. For those reasons, I wouldn't consider it very portable. Also, the air inlet is through the 510 connector. Even though I like the draw, it is fairly noisy drawing all that air through the 510. The atomizer is stainless, and the top part has a bunch of evenly spaced lines. Although it makes it good for gripping the atomizer, it stops halfway down and gives it a strange look. the juice "port holes" maks it look like something you might see on a ship or a rocket from the 50's.

Overall, I think it's the best design out there ATM, but someone needs to make another clone that is more aesthetically pleasing. Design wise, It's what a large kayfun lite should be.. glass tank, lots of juice, well designed. Kayfuns still beat it in looks, but it has become my at home all day atomizer.

And behold... The Taifun gt! ;) to me, it's the best of kayfun/squape. It's been my go to topper for a couple of weeks. I want a couple more, but I would love to try an expromizer first!!

I finally received my Squape clone from Focalecig last week, and I am very happy with it. The one thing I was concerned about prior to receipt was air flow, but my concerns were for not because the air flow on my Squape is perfect, and I would say about the same as both of my Taifun GT's.

The air holes on the 510 connection appear to be larger than that of previous batches, and the overall build quality is great. I would still give the Taifun GT the flavor advantage, but for the most part I like the Squape as much as both the Taifun and Kayfun. If you are a fan of bottom coil RBA's, there is no reason to not add the Squape to your collection.

It is heavy, but I like heavy, solid feeling devices, RBA's and Mechs alike .. but this may not be the RBA that you want to carry in your pocket, although I do all the time while I am gardening, and it doesn't bother me. Aesthetically speaking, I actually think the Winsmoke Squape is better looking than the original, as the top cap has a different chamfer, and looks more balanced against the rest of the device.

I have a squape. Works great on a provari or DNA device. Not so good on a mech unless it has airflow control in the 510. It holds a TON of juice. Build pretty well. Haven't had any problems with the coating yet. It was in my rotation for a while but I seem to enjoy my kayfun a little more. Squape is definitely easier to build on and works especially well with cotton vs silica. Always got dry hits on t with silica.

Taifun GT was passed up because it uses a polycarbonate tank... I vape a few liquids that are known tank crackers.. Squape is glass.. and well protected glass at that. :)

If the Taifun/squape had a glass option, it would be my go to tank... but the "quartz" tank on a kayfun are expensive and not available.. and no such thing for a Taifun to my knowlege.

so..... Squape is still my top pick.

I agree. Taifun GT has been great, but I also love my KFL+. The expromizer seems like the best of all of them combined, but I'll wait for them to come stateside and hear some reviews before I buy. I've got a Kayfun 3.1 clone, and that is too heavy/long for me, so it doesn't see much use, so I'm thinking the squape would be more of the same.
