It wasn't a V4L carto, but bob was kind enough to test the steamer on it and share his results.
Back to the original topic... I played with a syringe tonight and seems to done a good job. I'll know more after it sits and dries overnight. I'll refill it tomorrow and see how it vapes. The down side is it is very time consuming and you can only do one at a time. If you are like me and wait until you have 40 cartos to clean out, it may take hours to get them all done LOL. I'm hoping with the steamer I can bundle them together with a rubber band and mass clean them.
Last week I bundled 40 together, set them in a strainer and used the spray hose from the kitchen sink to run water through them. After that I put a wade of paper towels in the bottom of a newspaper plastic bag, dropped the bundle of cartos, top side down in on top of the paper towels and did the Taryn spin. Then I put them back in the strainer and poured boiling filtered water through them. One more time into the plastic bag with new paper towels and started the Taryn spin again. All went really well until that last spin when the bottom of the bag split open and my bundle of 40 cartos went flying up in the air. My first thought was which kitchen window was about to get broken, however before that thought was complete the bundle broke apart and 40 cartos came raining down all over the kitchen. My cats thought it was christmas and Santa had brought them new toys. They managed to knock 2 under the stove and 1 under the fridge before I could get them all picked up. Not sure I'll try that again LOL But the cartos did come out pretty clean.
Now that's funny!
