Has my nic base turned bad ?

I recently purchased some 54mg PG nic base off a member elsewhere which they had bought from a legit store a few months earlier. I noticed when i first got the juice that it wasn't clear, it has a browny/orangy colour to it.

I cut some down to 18mg 70/30 PG VG and mixed a few 5ml flavours which i let settle for a few days. I tried the juice today and all 4 that i mixed with different flavours has a very strong/weird tobacco/cornflake taste that isnt very pleasant.

I've only ever donw DIY by cutting down 36mg to 18 before and that didnt have any tobacco taste to it at all.

Has this juice turned bad or is it normal that it tastes like tobacco cornflakes.

IMHO I don't think I would use it. It's just not worth the risk. Nic base is just to cheap as it is and I would only buy from a reputable vendor.
Just my .02 cents.

Was this after you added flavoring to it or just the mixed down base. If it's just the mixed down bace I would not use it.

Good call i just tried the mixed down unflavoured and it is very tobacco/corny. I also mixed just plain no nic pg and vg in a small bottle and couldnt taste anything bad there so it's the nic base that's the culprit. Ill just bin it and get some fresh decent nic base.

It's not too much of a big deal i got it cheap from someone flogging off their DIY supplies.

It should have been clear...like you can see through it nearly. I personally wouldn't use it. Sucks that they would sell you this though.
