Spent the last few days just surfing the web - mainly in UK - trying to figure out the details of the game. Found this website really, really helpful.
I am a guy who likes to bottom things, otherwise known as a nerd really...
I have tried to spreadsheet the costs and calculations mainly because:
A) I am in Sicily atm and whilst I can buy kits, I can't buy supplies so I am going to have to deal mail-order. Since we will be travelling for the next two months back to the UK, I must work out what to buy before we leave so that I don't run out before I get someplace else where I can take in a parcel.
B) I am having great difficulty finding any website that really gives out with the information in detail. The spreadsheet makes it plain to me what questions I need the suppliers to provide before I can work out what I need. I have emailed 4 UK dealers in the last week and only one has replied!

Would any of you experienced guys care to have a look at the spreadsheet and tell me if I have understood what it is all about - please:)
It is only 24k and it is here: y8bbfbz at ....... dot com
Thanks
Patrick
PS. I know I am bending the rules here a bit but it isn't really a link to another website and I joined this forum mainly to get some experienced brains to check my research and I find I can't upload either - even to the Experts so please forgive this little indiscretion.

Dear me, slightly confusing, that spreadsheet.

Puffs per cart, difficult to say, individual matter. Usually people just count the ml they vape per day, and 2-3 seems to be very common, although I'd calculate slightly more the first week, due to spillage, inexperience, whatnot. You can refill the carts for months, just change the filling like once a week. Cost for that is about half a Euro cent, affordable.

Puffs per atomizer, nobody will be able to answer that one. All of mine but one still vape fine, with the newest being more than three months old. The one that kicked the bucket did so after around 45 days. You can't count on that, though, so I tell people to calculate a new atty every 6 weeks and a new battery every 3 months, or around there. Have spares, though, you can't count on those numbers.

There are also very few people out there who have shops nearby, almost everybody has to mail order. Hey, in Italy you have Flavourart, and it's national shipping :D However, put DIY liquid on the backburner until you have mastered vaping itself.

So, simply calculate: Cost of a set, should be either one with two atties or a spare atty. Plus 2-3mls a day. Check out how you like it, and then order spares and more juice. Since you are in Europe, also check out ebnferro, excellent prices, good Joye stuff, service I was told is good too, I myself never needed it. Fast shipping, too - usually, 2 days from Netherlands to Germany.

Thanks AlexTM. I have checked out both the sources you suggest and the look excellent for flavours.
I have today bought a 601 e-pipe and anoth e-cig starter kit with some catridges for both. My wife and I hope that this will mean we can finally clean the walls and ceiling off for the last time:p
I suspect my "confusing" spreadsheet is partly because my mind works that way - too many years putting business plans together!
But it is partly because I am not able to just order more stuff whenever the need arises as I won't have an address for the next 10 weeks. I have to try and get it as right as I can at the first attempt. No suck-it-and-see allowed for me8-o
Thanks for the suggestions.

Uhm - do try to get that pipe going before you are beyond the reaches of the forum. They are usually not recommended for beginners, although if they vape well, they vape very well. It's just that there is an "if" in that sentence, and it belongs there.

The spreadsheet as such is not a bad idea - it was more that several questions were quite unanswerable ;) Never mind, I've seen a lot worse, though.

Thanks for the warning.8-o We carry the internet with us always so won't be out of reach... Now been 100% epipe for 1.5 days! Have discovered that the vapour seems to weaken after about six puffs but a slight tap as if to shake the cart down onto the atomiser seems to completely revive it for another 6 puffs.:sneaky: Still on 1st cart so don't know if this is a feature of cart or pipe!
What else should I know?:)
Thanks
Patrick

the pipes are very arrogant pieces of e-cigs. really.
you may lift the filler 1mm so that it makey better contact with the steel mesh.

but you really have to watch your pipe, if the atomizer ever gets flooded, its very possible
that liquid got soaked up by the wood and the pipe head cracks if it dries up.

so if your pipe ever get flooded, turn it upside down and vape it until its dry again.

sorry, this are only the basic tips, i'm not a pipegod myself, but in knew some german people that got their piece with the pipe design.
