Hassled for vaping?

I've been vaping for about 5 months now and love it... But I live in a town where it really hasn't caught on. I get alot of off hand crack pipe comments and people who just don't get it. I try to explain the benefits and how much better I feel since I quit smoking but I'm mainly just met with more scoffing. Given, some people are actually interested and don't have a problem with it. But it's the other comments that really get under my skin. I'm vaping on a full mechanical mod with an 18650 batt so it isn't the most inconspicuous device... But I was just curious if anybody else out there has been confronted with similar issues?

I'm not militant enough to care. Enjoy life, it's too short to get all worked up. Or, follow the lead of everyone else in Lexington, and move to Nashville.

Hey, if you feel better, and are getting in better health, relax..... That leads to better health too. You can't change everyone's opinion on everything. Just try to represent vaping the best you can and if they aren't interested, then pay them no mind. Just smile and think of all the $$$ you're saving.

Ignore them. You don't owe anyone any explanations unless they are law enforcement. I vape discreetly in public although its not really necessary as almost everyone has heard of an ecig in my city.

True. I figure eventually they'll adjust and get over it. It's funny the guys that have the biggest problem with it are the ones I work with who are either still on analogs or use canned tobacco.

im never stealthy about vaping. I actually encourage people to ask me about it. I think I can help a lot of smokers to convert
