Hate the enclosure, love the chip

Hi all.

I have a Hohmtech Hohmwrecker G2 that i use daily and i really like the Kanthal TC mode on it.

But the mod itself does not fit well in the hand.

I was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction of a custom mod maker that could rip out the guts of the mod and put it in a more hand-friendly enclosure

Any suggestions welcomed!

No suggestions. Having had mods shaped like yours before I know how uncomfortable they are to hold in the hand. Live and learn.

You might research into finding a silicone sleeve for your mod. It would make it more comfortable to hold in your hand. If you can't find one for your specific mod, you might be able to find one close to its dimensions and cut out the appropriate holes with an exacto knife.

I scoured the internet but could not find a silicone sleeve for this mod

After watching this video (Voopoo Drag dissasembly)
i noticed the layout is pretty much the same as for the Hohmwrecker.

So maybe the internals of the Hohmwrecker will fit inside the Drag Box, would only have to cut out for one button and use a lot of glue

Gonna find a local shop that sells the Drag and see if the buttons and screen line up.

I would figure you could probably have someone 3d print an enclosure for you, you could make one, or you could hit up one of the numerous custom vape gear makers on facebook. The last one won't be cheap so I guess it depends on how much you like that kanthal TC mode.

All have build similarities. Board on one side and battery on the other wiring to the mount. A touch of soldering needed, though.

The Hohm Wrecker has a big blemish in its boxiness. I was just looking at this one. Two batteries, though.

I really wish the adjustment buttons were away from the fire button. Mine are recessed.
