Have Blu ecigs improved substantially?

Hey all,

I (very briefly) tried Blu ecigs when I was first getting in to vaping ~4 years ago and stopped for the next ~3 years because my experience with them was so negative. I found that the batteries died constantly and the cartridges always got a funny "burnt" flavor at the end that made me worry I was melting some part of it that I wasn't supposed to.

Have their been any significant changes to the Blu design since then?

I tried them a few years ago and had problems with the coils, which were separate pieces that you had to pierce into the cartos. They got better when they integrated the works but overall they still suck and didn't keep me from smoking. I got burnt hits from some cartos and had a decent vape from others...it was all hit or miss for me.

I'm guessing you're asking because you're interested in picking up something small, about the size of a cigarette, that has a small charging case, etc.? ;)

If so... yeah, don't buy a Blu kit. And I'm not just jumping on the bandwagon, I bought one of their starter kits just for fun last year and it literally went into the trash can the same day. Ha

I highly recommend you either get a Halo G6 kit, or a Smokeless Image Volt kit. They're essentially the same as each other. You'll get a couple very small batteries (KR808s), and both companies have cartomizers that screw onto the battery just like Blu. Except, well, they taste and work SO much better. Additionally, both companies have a carrying case that you can charge a battery in.

Or if you want something tiny but more advanced, hop into the Joyetech eRoll subforum and do some reading.
