Have no taste of E-Liquid on Smoant Knight AIO issue

The issue is that I have no taste of liquid on Smoant Knight AIO even when coil is soaked with e-liquid.
To resolve this issue I've tried to:
1. Replace the coil and soak it.
2. Close airflow a bit
3. Charge battery up to full
4. Change watts on device
5. Replace e-liquid in the tank
battery is green with
"INR18650-25R
SAMSUNG SDI
5 2G94" text
what should I do to resolve this issue with my device?

HI and welcome,

How long did you smoke and how many per day?
Which liquid are you using? (PG/VG ratio, mg/ml ) Brand and flavor
Is the flavor new to you or recently mixed? (DIY)
Is this your first vape device?
Which coil resistance are you using?
What mode is the AIO set to?
What power level (watts/volts/joules) are you using?

Are you a MTL vaper or a DTL vaper?

The flavor not withstanding, does the vape produce a satisfying throat hit , adequate vapor and effective delivery of nicotine?

Cheers
I

Thank you for your reply.
1. I smoked not so often when I was on other device (this was Smoant Pasito 2).
2. I was using 50/50 VG/PG liquid with 70 mg nicotine per 1 ml (when I was smoking those types of liquids on Smoant Pasito 2 it was perfectly fine all the time on K-1 and K-5 coils)
3. My flavor wasn't mixed. It's not new liquid for me, I used it once a long time ago. My first liquid on this device was new to me, but I also had no flavor on it.
4. no, this device wasn't first for me. Before I was using Smoant Pasito 2, and liquid's flavor on the same coil as in Smoant Knight AIO (K-5) was perfect.
5. I'm using K-5 coil with 0.15 ohms coil resistance
6. My Knight's mode is set to VW, but I've tried other modes - no result
7. I've used mostly 70-90 Watts on VW mode, but I've tried lower Watt levels - no result
8. I'm DTL vaper
9. Currently my Knight AIO doesn't produces satisfying throat hit. Nicotine delivery is much lower compared to Smoant Pasito 2 on absolutely the same Liquid (when I was using Smoant Pasito 2 on 70-80 Watts on K-5 coil on 70 mg/ml liquid, nicotine effect was very noticeable).

Wish I could help but I never used those devices.

Have to say, 70 mg liquid is scary strong. Especially at high wattage. I use 4 mg nic at 12 watts now. The highest I ever used was 24mg and that was right after I quit a heavy smoking habit. Tried 36 once and it almost laid me out. Guess it worked for you on your previous device though.

Is the juice salt nic or regular nic.

The way you vape is so far out of my realm of experience, I keep having to reread that 70mg juice at around 80w... Were you a cigar smoker?
My main suspect would be the battery. I can take a mod with juice I know the taste of well, change the battery from a hohmtech to a Samsung and the flavor changes. Its subtle, but definitely noticeable. Maybe something similar is happening to you?

IMO,
1. Try a battery with a higher discharge rate (Molicel P26)
2. Use a coil with a lower wattage requirement. (K2)
Using the K5 at .15 ohm; the Samsung 25r, when new, is only going to give you about 70-75 watts of current and not for very long. I presume the built in cell of the pasito will actually out put something closer to the 80 or so watts and thus produces a more satisfying vape.
3. A new device might need some trial and error to discover the combination of power/airflow/resistance/nicotine strength/ throat hit/mouth feel/vapor density and flavor that suits you and your vape style,

Thanks for your advice. I'll order new battery according to your advice, and I'll write in this thread again when it will be delivered and tested by me.
Thank you again.

Also, I've tried K-2 coil first (it was preinstalled on Knight AIO), and no success was achieved. But I'll still try new battery
