Have you got a collection of vapes on your shelf just collecting dust. Do you have to have the newest unit out there. Quit hoarding e-cigs and vapes. Donate them to somebody that may quit. A friend, family member co-worker. Guess what vapes are not worth anything in the future, unless maybe they change someone elses.

I have a modest collection of gear.
  • 6 Evod style tanks ( Not used much any more )
  • 1 RSST rta ( Currently seeing heavy use )
  • 1 T-Dux V.4 ( Not used much any more )
  • 1 SS tube AeroTank (broken, needs new AFC ring /base )
  • 1 MR. Owl BF RDA ( Not used currently, no squonker )
  • 1 Ola X Hero 30 Watt (broken)
  • 1 Terminator Squonk Mod (broken)
  • 1 MVP2 ( Usable & swapping out w/ XPro )
  • 2 Itazte3 ( Usable just set aside as back ups )
  • 1 SmokTech XPro M22 ( Usable & swapping out w/ MVP )
Going to hold on to Evods. I may get a little more gear, currently looking for a decent squonking mod & an affordable squonk RDA. I want the mod to use swappable batteries. What I am seeking is durable, dependable and reasonably safe gear.

Lusting a bit over the Kanger Dripbox 160 Watt VW model. May instead wind up buying a $25 Reo clone, $10 Tobecco Velocity clone. I know these would both be knock offs but even if only half as good as authentic they would last me.

I'll also hold on to the MVP2 & XPro, Itaztes & the RSST. I really no longer use the Evods as squonking spoiled me into being a lung hitter over being a MTL. Will keep them though as one never can be sure what will happen. I would love to do some PIF, if I were able. Beings as I have just a modest collection, that seems a bit unrealistic though.

Also dislike feeling goaded or prodded into having to do PIF. That from my understanding is not what it was meant to be. I don't ask for any PIF myself, instead I buy my gear & juice out of a fixed rate stipend that only pays out every so often. I learn to make do as best I can. Begging would kind of disgrace me, and anyone I begged from. My humble :2c:.

Also please note, I mean nothing drastically disparaging in stating I feel uncomfortable to beg. It may be my own stubborn pride in the way as far seeing paying for my own gear, as being how I choose to vape. Recently, learned there is hope and one can ask for help. That's fine and well, I just think paying as I go makes sense for myself. Again, possibly stubborn pride, or maybe a way for me to claim responsibility. :)

I've lent my stuff to a few people for weeks at a time and they still continue to smoke, provided them with juice and everything. That's when it dawned on me that they didn't want to quit lol. For now I'll just mind my business and wait till they approache me.
I've noticed it has alot to do with the flavors people choose to try to quit cigs. People have to try the good tobacco flavors thats what they crave as well as the nic. I know we may say we dont like the flavor of cigs but we do. I love apple pie but i couldnt eat it everyday. Why people think to sub cig with fruity or candy flavors idk. Try tobacco flavors then move to others after if you want. But keep a good tobacco flavor handy for the days you want to smoke. It tricks you and helps cravings better. Also alot of people cant handle the high Pg in juices that are out there. Try Max Vg alot less of a throat inratent.

I've been able to collect quite a few doodads and what nots and really have a hard time letting go of them. Recently, though, I vaped forward my blue NEBOX to a buddy smoker. Even gave him an LG HE4 18650 and a pack of the *cough, coughCrap, cough* Kanger claptonOCCs.

I have yet to see him use it.

I give a lot of stuff away.

I also need to keep some for the Zombie Apocalypse.

It's got nothing to do with them having any value in the future. It's to do with backups in the event of an outright ban. Nobody is getting my mechs or anything with the word "Sigelei" on the side.

They are welcome to my Joyetech stuff and I've already given away 4 iSticks.

Actually, I'm gonna buy some Vaporfi (I can afford that) and give it all away for free. :D NOT.

Even if only 1 out 10 people you give vapes to actually quits cigs then awesome! Its all about not letting them go to waste sitting on a shelf like trophys or something. If they own a vape they are more likely to eventually use it when ready. Don't pressure them into it. Whether there collecting dust on your shelf or theirs it doesn't make a difference. They will thank you for it when they do quit. I have a lot of friends that are still smoking after I have given them a unit and liquid. Don't let that discourage you to try to help. Keep a backup unit but people quit hoarding vapes. Even sell them if you want but to many of us vapers are becoming hoarders. That's a great new show idea we will call it "Vape Horders"

Don't let that discourage you from trying again with someone else.

To many people vaping is a hobby and as such a collection of vape gear is not uncommon.

It's a hobby to me as well, just one that I can only afford on a fixed rate stipend. I also don't see great need beyond having more than I need. If I was capable to do PIF, I would.

On the other end of that I don't go asking for PIF. Sorry, not something I can see doing. To me PIF is about the whole concept of random kindness. It happens spontaneously, voluntarily. Not meaning to sound a jerk in my views. Apologies if I did.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink..... I've wasted plenty of money on good equipment trying to convert friends.... For the most part they just don't dig it because it's just easier "to open a pack, no fiddling required" :-(

ECF click-bait if ever there was... :)

I've got lots of gear, and I've also given loads away to friends. I bought a lot of equipment in the search to find what I like. Now I've pretty much found out the few setups I like, it's about getting more them to future proof me against the war on vaping.
