Oh it's so easy to fall into that trap of searching for the perfect vape and forgetting the big picture. I have come close a few times myself but luckily I am broke for another 6 months.
... feels really nice between my lips...
They are by far the most practical device out there... but I don't like the looks personally (I like to add a pinch of fashion into my PV) and it's super portable!
Looking more for a at home/office chilling vape to help quite the need to vape everywhere... I think that's what she was getting at anyways.
When your batteries/cartos all die in the same day you'll have your first "OH ...." moment and then you'll start to get a better idea of how many "back ups" to have on hand
Whatever you think is enough, double it![]()

I ask because, for me, vaping had started to get too frustrating, time consuming, and "complicated" 4 months ago. I almost gave it up after a year and a half of perpetually looking for the "perfect" vape, thinking I found it, but continuing the never ending search anyway, buying the newest, latest, greatest, biggest, longest lasting, most recommended......"stuff".
I asked myself what drew me to vaping in the first place, what was I looking for, and how would I know when I found it? After all, I "thought" I'd found my perfect vape before, with the eGo, then with the eGo tank, then with various popular mods, and with various attachments. Truth is, I was missing the simplicity of cigarettes, I was missing holding it like a cigarette, letting it hang from my lips when I'm typing. I was getting tired of pushing buttons and feeling conspicuous with bigger devices. I was tired of thinking I'd "hit the jackpot" only to read about something "better" every week.
When I started I was simply looking for help to quit smoking. It seems I was getting "hooked" on searching, buying and trying new "things" as they came out. My new "hobby" was becoming a lifestyle, and was costing a lot of money to boot. Things would be great for a day or a week, and then...leaks, bad taste, messes, frustration, and more searching. All I really ever wanted was to find something to help me quit smoking.
I happen to like the vapor and the simplicity of cartomizers, and I was perpetually hoping/expecting and trying to duplicate the "experience" of vaping a brand new carto, from ones that were used one or more times - after all, why throw away a perfectly good carto so I thought! In my search for the perfect vape I spent too much time watching videos on how to clean cartos Ultimately I concluded that they're only "new" once, and that by expecting a filler material to get wet, heated, boiled, oven dried, refilled and reheated, might be expecting the unrealistic. It seemed a lot like a cotton ball being washed and dried and expecting it to be as fluffy as new.
So I wondered if, and wanted to encourage anyone else who might be starting to feel frustrated at the time and effort spent researching, buying, trying, cleaning and maintaining devices and components, and see that it might not be the device, the carto, the tank, or the cleaning method used, but rather, us, looking for, hoping, and expecting more than we originally sought to satisfy? I was becoming "trained" to seek out bigger, thicker mouthfuls of vapor, because I came to believe that was the ultimate "goal" because it looked good in reviewer videos, and because I was being trained to think that bigger products are better. In fact, the very first, crappy, low priced e-cig, was enough to win me over! When did I get so "involved" in a huge vapor "seeking" lifestyle?
I support ANY shape, size, or type of e-cig, whatever works for you! But if you're feeling like I was, and "the chase" is getting old, I just want to encourage everyone to revisit your reasons for switching, and see if it might be time to go "back to basics", not back to smoking!![]()
Haha don't be so sure, I don't even want to know how much money I've spent on vaping supplies since I started 4 months ago but I can tell you that I'm not very far from the $3,000![]()
JEEEEEEZUUSSSS...
You are a machine! o_0
I only spent about $150 a month on smokes, so it's not difficult to go over that amount being a vaper. Especially when all your #%&*#$%$ batteries keep dying.
Knock on wood I still haven't had a single battery crap out on me yet. Might be because I have a whole bunch of them and I keep rotating them...
