I have been considering e-cigs for a week now and been trying to get info on them.
I have watched a lot of product reviews on youtube by both male and female veterans of various age groups.

One thing that I noticed in almost all the speakers is a unique hoarseness quality to their voice.
I don't know how to describe this. Their voice is not low, or airy, but it sounds a bit broken whilst moist (not dry at all)

I believe it's not the same change as analog smokers would suffer and it's much stronger in my opinion.
As i said, i find it very unique.

I was wondering if you guys had noticed this type of change in your voice or if changes in voice are a known side effect?

thanks

but yeah my voice is totally clear. Whatever you're talking about with videos probably has to do wtih the fact that the people making the videos smoked for twenty years before committing to vaping.

Seriously thuogh, within a month of quitting, i can breathe better, and everyone says my voice sounds more clear. I didn't even notce it until my mother said something on the phone.

But now it's allergy season and i sound like a zombie.

I think analogs affect your voice quite strongly. I wasn't a heavy smoker at ALL- about 6-10 cloves a day for four years- and my husband definitely told me my voice was really different. I've only been vaping for about a week so it's still lower and hoarser from smoking. No change so far...

So, I'd bet you're hearing smokers who damaged their voices over many years of smoking.
