Having a terrible 1st experience with vaporizing Help!

Personally, I started with the DIY about month 2.5
Using 48 mig nic base only. And I have stuck with that. My reasoning was that if I had a complete mental blackout and did not add any PG/VG I would not suffer too much from it.
Not too likely that would happen because it's never happened before... But anything is possible.

I think I started out with 36mg and never graduated up from that. 100 just scared me, but when I get some more experience under my belt, we'll rethink. I don't have a heck of a lot of room in my freezer, so that's a problem!

go down to 18mg.. and try a 50/50 blend - that should help your issue.

I was thinking the same. Lower your nic and go to 50/50. I had the same problem when I first ordered juices at 75/25 by mistake. 30 mg will make any juice harsh for most people.

+1, even at 24 some of them remind me of black pepper being inhaled. 18 is a good place to start.

thanks guys I have lowered to nic to about 14-16 its alot better and I figured out that if I draw really slow then I get a better throat hit BUT now im craving a cigarette .... grrr why!

I think it is true that some ppl are more sensitive to pg. My brother has no problem vapin 80pg20vg but for me at the end of the day I almost have a sore throat I usually use 70vg or 80vg it may require a shot or two of extra flavor and a lil longer steep time but I can vape it all day without and issues

Also ive noticed that not every clearo works the same I have 1 iclear30 that produces great vapor and flavor and another iclear30 that always gives more of a harsh taste and throat hit. Both have been used well, washed well, and this happens under identical conditions like voltage and juice. The most consistant clearo ive tried is the evod... imo its the best so far for me... no leaking no dry hit and good vapor and flavor

If I were you I would try an evod with a juice blend of 70vg30pg 18mg nic lvl on about 3.8v. And you may even want to try a new juice vendor bc ive noticed some vendors tend to produce a harsher juice. Steeping may also be an issue. I had some juice from mandycatt at timeless vapors and right out of the mail it was chemical tasting and harsh after about 2 weeks of steeping the flavors really came alive and the harshness was gone. Good juice after steeping. Then I have also ordered juice from greenman ejuice and he ultrasonically steeps his juice for you b4 he ships it and it was great right out of the mailbox

That craving will pass, Thrifty, but it's probably because you lowered your nic intake. Also, are you at a milestone mark (3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months?) Something about those times makes people really struggle, seems they are detoxing from one thing or another around these times.
