Having Great Problem and Dilemma with DIY E-Juice

Yeah, as the title goes, i have made a terrible mistake on my first attempt for my very 1st DIY E-juice

As i noticed this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/347333-amount-nicotine-liquid.html , this is so far the one that almost resolved my problem, but as a new member i couldnt reply any yet.

This is the kit that i purchased recently from Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

And whats really bothered me is,

i have purchased HC Unflavoured eliquid with 50PG-50VG based with 11mg NIC -> this : 115ml HC Unflavored E-liquid [Z8 HC Unflavored 115ml] - $11.99 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

And it says that i only need to add some flavor that i purchased together.

Now the confusing part,

Do i really need to use seperate PG and VG and add-on to the HC Unflavoured eliquid with 50PG-50VG based with 11mg NIC ? or can i just use that product without additional PG VG

Ive tried to make a 5ml ejuice , using only HC Unflavoured Eliquid with 50PG-50VG based with 11mg NIC , + Mango Flavor + Watermelom Flavor and using Calculator from eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator and yes, i read thoroughly how to use that calculator and well-informed on how to use it.
But the result is Horrible~! the flavor just feels wrong , i think i have overdose Nicotine... its very strong nicotine and i felt dizzy for at least an hour or so.

Help me clarify this.

If you feel dizzy then you need to lower your nic level. If you don't want to, then you'll just have to get used to it. Try another batch with just mango or another flavor. Don't mix them yet.

I can't tell you how many stories I have read of people creating nasty juices.

My Problem is, wether the Liquid i used need to be mix with pure PG VG or not, As i bought that item that comes with 11mg NIC (which is at my preferable nic level for the current moment)...

SO basically i only use HC Unflavoured Eliquid with 50PG-50VG based with 11mg NIC , without any additional seperate PG VG.

Thats my real problem right now...

11mg nic is low content to start with IMO. I thin 100mg down to 20mg.

To answer your question, we'll need to know your target nic content.

If you're feeling dizzy, did you get the base on your skin? If so, it should be cleansed with warm water and soap, immeditely. At 11mg, tho, it's not to be worried with much, as the average fatal dose is ~1000mg. This means you'd need to dump 10,000ml of 11mg on you and let it all soak in lol.

For your feeling of OD, maybe your base product was mislabeled? You'd need to test it to be sure. No way to tell via interwebz. Sorry

Very much thanks for the info, could you help me check on the product as perlink aboive , should i add-on seperate pure PG VG to the Nic Base PG VG that i used previously?

That website looks sketchy. But anyways. You say you bought a premixed base of 50/50 VG/PG with 11mg nicotine total? You should be able to go ahead and just add flavor to it. However, add the flavor in small batches, not to the entire bottle.
But you are saying the nicotine is too strong? The website does look pretty sketchy and they could have messed up on the labeling, mixing etc. If you feel like it is too much nicotine and you are getting dizzy then dilute it. Don't want to over dose on nicotine.
If you are really unsure you can buy a test kit.

My main issue right now is not the flavor as it can be adjust later on, its the Base that i used.... i felt my head exploded with Nic although its only says 11mg.. should i add on with Pure PG VG, or not? confusinggg -___-"

The product you ordered should not require any additional PG/VG, all you need is already in the bottle. Of course, that is assuming that you actually got what you paid for. There might be something wrong with your bottle of nic.

None of this story really adds up to me.

I doubt 11mg could make an infant dizzy, let alone an adult. You must have ordered the wrong product or you're simply not used to using nicotine.

You're not going to need to add any PG or VG to the mix. Everything is already there. The site says no 11mg 50/50 units are left so perhaps they substituted your choice for something else.

If your not sure what the real nicotine level is in the juice it will be hard to dilute it correctly. 11 mg should not be making you feel that way.
I supposed if you wanted to you could only add half of the nicotine base you are supposed to add, and then substitute the rest with PG or VG and see if that helps.

Your base is 11mg per ml. That means adding flavoring is going to dilute it down a bit. I would recommend starting with only 5% of one of the flavors. Watermelon and mango doesn't sound like a very tasty combo to me. You should not need additional VG or PG.

If you are used to using 11mg liquid, than it shouldn't be causing nic OD. If it is, then it is mislabeled or you shouldn't be using 11mg nic. You can cut it down by adding PG or VG.

To answer your question , angkasa, Anything you add is going to lower the nic level below your preference. The nic you bought is at your preferable nic level, or so we hope and assume. I would try vaping it without flavor first, just to give you a "feel" for what you have.

One thing I hear over and over, not here at ECF but at the B&M, is that when you buy online you don't know for sure what you're getting. Well, he would say that, since he wants my business! But I hear it from the other customers too. Since I've been on the forum I've explored at least a couple dozen websites but haven't ordered anything online yet. Some of the websites look very professional, while some look sketchy and confusing - amateur. The question that occurs to me is, how do you know you got the right nic level in the liquid you ordered? Have you dealt with that company before? Did you call their customer service line? Do they even have one?

I haven't begun mixing my own juice yet but it's definitely on my agenda. I'm keen to hear more about these problems and their resolutions. Thanks for sharing your experience!

As a person who has been mixing my own ejuice for almost a year now I feel safe saying that from my point of view mixing ejuice is just not as difficult as portrayed in this thread. If I can do it successfully (and I can and do) especially using ejuicemeup anybody can do it! OP please recheck the measurements in the program. Also all flavorings are not created equal. For instance FA is much more concentrated than Capella meaning that where you might mix with Capella at 10% FA would only be used at like 2%. Fruit flavors need to be stepped for a while.

Maybe this will help you , just type in your mg then your target mg of nic % of vg/pg and flavoring and it will tell you how much of each to use.

On a side note make very small amounts of DIY juice without the nic added befor making a large bottle with the nic
this way if you dont like it your not wasting the nic,pg/vg and more flavoring. eJuice Recipe Calculator

You have to add pg/vg to the nic you buy.
