Hey everyone.

I got a pack of 5 clearomizers. The first one was GREAT. Nice hit and easy to fill and refill.

I've tried to fill each of the other 4 and they WON'T LIGHT! I have the mouthpiece off and I'm pressing the button on my eGo-T, but there's no glow.

I might've gotten some fluid in that little center piece (my fluids are too thick for the syringe, apparently, so I have to drip the fluid in).

I've tried using a QTip to dry off that wick part but I still can't get it to work.

Any suggestions?

Exactly what clearomizer are you trying to use? What resistance?
You might not be able to see the coil glowing, so that's a minor issue at this point.
The main thing is to find out whether you're getting electrical contact and, if so, is the coil o.k.

You can blow the excess juice out of the airtube.
You may need to pull your post on the eGo.
If you have a meter, you can check to see if you are getting continuity. If you are, then the only possibility is that you aren't getting contact. The center post on the first one could have been slightly longer than the others. That would shove the center post in your battery connector down and prevent the other ones from making contact.

Pull the post up a tiny bit with a toothpick. You can use a paperclip to pry around the edges of the center post and lift it just a little. If you have a shutoff on the eGo, use it before you try to pull your post with anything metallic, like a paper clip.

Hi stl1969,

Are you saying there's no glow from the led light on your battery? sounds like a connection problem. Did you use any isopropyl or other alcohol on the qtip when you cleaned the connections up? Pulling the post on the batt is a good suggestion.

As far as filling thick juices with a syringe, I vape 100% VG and generally take the needle off of the syringe to fill it from the ejuice bottle, then replace the needle tip and fill my cartos or clearos. I push the syringe very slowly to avoid blowing the needle cap off and have no problems.

You can see it glow when it's dry a lot easier than you can once the wick is wet.
You really shouldn't be able to see any glow from a wet wick. If you can, you're going to get a dry hit.
You can usually hear a light "sizzling" sound though. If you hear that sound, you're getting contact.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the tip. At least I know not to look but listen! Unfortunately, I'm not getting that satisfying "sizzling" sound either.

No, the battery light is coming on when I press the button. I was looking for a glow from the wick.

And maybe I'll try going slower with the syringe. When I plunged the syringe, there was just a ton of resistance, and like you said, I didn't want to blow the end of and have juice everywhere.
