Having trouble with the volt/ Need a few pointers.

Hi ECF members, about 2 weeks ago I bought a Volt starter pack from ivapour elixir which came with 2 auto batteries and 5 empty cartos. Now I need to buy new cartos but don't understand the concept behin ohms and HR and LR, or the problems with auto batteries. Also i know the volt has a kr808 connection but what other cartos or usb charges will fit 510s and so on.

Basically…

Ohms, a Measure of Resistance, tells you how Hot a Cartomizer or Atomizer operates at.

Lower Ohms = Hotter
Higher Ohm = Cooler

LR stand for Low Resistance. These would be Lower Ohm Cartos/Attys

HR stands for High Resistance. These would be Higher Ohm Cartos/Attys.

As the Ohms get Lower you get More Flavor and Vapor. To A Point. Too Low of Ohms and your e-Liquid will start to taste Burnt.

If your PV has a KR808 thread on it, you can still use 510 Cartos/Attys. But you will need to buy a KR808 Batter to 510 Carto/Atty Adapter.

So what happens if I use a LR battery with a HR cartomiser? and is there a safe region e.g my bat is 2.5 ohms a would a 3.0-3.5 cart work?

Also what are mAhs?
Someone told me a 901 will fit a kr808, does this mean I can use drip tips and usb charger meant for the 901?

Batteries are Usually not rated by Ohms. But they are rated in mAh.

mAh, Miliamp Hours, is a messure of how long a battery will last before having to be recharged.

Think of mAh like the Gasoline Tank in your car. A 900mAh battery has a Bigger "Tank" than a 650mAh battery. So it will last longer before needing to be recharged.

I would recommend these Blank Cartomizers.

I have used the 510 Version of them and think they are about the Best out there.

As with ANY Cartomizer, the key is to Never let them get Dry and then take a hit. Keep them Wet and Refill them often and I think you should be in Good Shape.
