having vinal makes painting easy

I told my buddy that if he wanted to print me out some designes of his shop logo inverted i would toss them on my new dna30. Especially since he had the chip in his shop. If he did not have the chip I dont think it would have been built yet.
So im no pro at paints. Will putting a coat of clear over this keep it from scuffing up?

It will help to an extent. The paint used is more important. For metal or plastic this appliance epoxy spray is really tough. It's really thick though, so more intricate designs may prove difficult.

Sadly almost any paint won't last on most plastics no matter what you do. The one above has proven better than anything else I've tried though. Among those are plastic primer, Krylon Fusion for Plastics, and Testor's model enamels to name a few. Unfortunately it only comes in black, silver and 3 shades of white.
