I've looked hard at getting the round Robust... often... but the fact that it's only VV keeps me from getting it and just wait for someone to make a VW in this size.

For that size, I do have an original E-Power 14650 that is unregulated and I updated it's switch to one that has an eGo threading on it. That gives me a 5-7w vape on a 2.5 ohm head as long as I don't let the battery drop below 3.6v. For my VW... I now only have a Vamo since a friend talked me out of the v1 Zmax I got through the Alpha program.

My opinion differs... I like VW just fine, but I change the wattage just as often as I change voltage on a VV. Juices differ. And attys/cartos differ in performance way beyond Ohm's law. I run a 2.5Ω Raven at a much different voltage/wattage than a 2.5Ω ST SC carto.

I change my wattage often also, even on the same carto I may start off using 6w and bump it up through the day until I get to 8w.. but at least it is in the ballpark to start with. So there is nothing "wrong" with VV... I just find VW a bit easier to deal with.

The joy in this is that I just carry an extra 14500 or 2 in the bottom of my purse.
Adrena, I'm guessing you already have this covered, but since this thread was started for a newer vaper, I think it's worth mentioning that those extra batteries should be carried in a battery case and never just thrown loosely into a purse or pocket to avoid shorts and such.

>,< in my purse I have a small change pocket. 3 AA sizes batts stand up parallel in that small space alone.
Does that Work? or should I ditch my placement? (Honestly I admit I had no clue)

I carry mine in this... battery case.jpg..a 14500 battery case that holds 4 of them, snaps shut tightly :)

OMG  I was heading to PM's to see if you knew of a batt box I could but them in <3
LOL what is that called? I need me one of dem :D (I just know you would have an answer)
 Actually, they hook together with a bulit in clip so you can have more then one in a line too. :D I have blue ones and clear ones. When I'm out all day I bring both colors, one full of batts, one empty. Then when I change a battery out that needs charging...I put it in the empty color one and when I get home I know exactly which ones need charging :D Quite the system for a monkey huh ? Okay, PM coming to ya :)

* COUGH COUGH EXCUSE ME BADKOLO & DANNO...WE NEED DESE HERE UNITS PLEASE !! *

A case like AG posted is what I was referring to and would be your best bet. :) I'm sure if there is demand Bad and Dan could get them.

I'm no battery expert, but as I understand it you want to keep anything conductive away from the battery terminals. It will also protect against anything that could poke, dent or otherwise damage the battery's body.

Battery cases are made for every size battery we all use. "I personally" think that every vaping vender should have battery cases on site for all sizes of batterys they carry :)

GV is ALWAYS good at getting what we ask for :D

I really want to try both of those, which is your favorite of the two?

so i basically stole the Protank from my friend lol.. he got 3 and I'm just going to give him 1 back (once I can find them available that is.. lol) only been using it for a day and its pretty great.. wanted to try it with a couple questionable juices with it.. its my first bottom coil so i'm curious to see how it stands up. people say it has a very 'airy' draw but i haven't really noticed.

the iclear30 is the only clearo i'll use at this point for the $ and the quality. personally i'm not a fan of vivi-novas but to each his own.

Battery cases cost little to nothing...cheap...BUT PRICELESS !.... if you have ever seen results of a battery gone bad you'll Thank God you had one instead of carrying it loose :D

They are good for storing batteries also. For those who may be leaving batteries on the charger or sitting loose somewhere, this is a much safer option. I only use 18650's, which last me a day, but I charge four at a time and store the extras in these next to the charger, which sits empty when not in use.
