They are good for storing batteries also. For those who may be leaving batteries on the charger or sitting loose somewhere, this is a much safer option. I only use 18650's, which last me a day, but I charge four at a time and store the extras in these next to the charger, which sits empty when not in use.
 Yes, I also store all my batterys of all sizes in their batt boxes too, ALL of the time. (My vaping supplies are in large tackle boxes for easy grab n go during hurricane season  So they are all in their boxes in there)....It doesn't matter where they are IF there's something they can contact with and they are loose,( doesn't have to be just in your handbag or pocket)...You take the chance of trouble....

I really want to try both of those, which is your favorite of the two?

Top coils vs bottom coil is going to come down to preference. Both are great and worth trying. If the cost of the Protank is offputting start out with a Raven or evod and you can get a sense of bottom coil coil performance.

Your mention of your tackle box made me think that I've considered a thread for folks to show off pics of their vaping collection and storage (primarily because I'm jealous of Zipper's setup for anyone who has seen it.) I'm picturing Zipper running from a hurricane lugging his giant stand over his head and AG sprinting in the lead with her mobile vaping supply kit.:lol::lol:

 Actually, they hook together with a bulit in clip so you can have more then one in a line too. :D I have blue ones and clear ones. When I'm out all day I bring both colors, one full of batts, one empty. Then when I change a battery out that needs charging...I put it in the empty color one and when I get home I know exactly which ones need charging :D Quite the system for a monkey huh ? Okay, PM coming to ya :)

iclear30 clearo's and PROTank is all I personally need at this point

EDIT: and of course a provari..lol but I'm going to challenge myself to hold off until my 1 year without smoking to get one of those bad boys

All I ever hear about is Provari this and Provari that, but the price is just crazy to me... but I was thinking about saving like 10 bucks a week or so and then when I hit the 1 year mark of not smoking anymore, treating myself to a Provari since that is what everyone seems to use and love, well those who have one.

(hopefully this won't start a Provari war)

While the Provari is a well built device that was cutting edge when it was first released, I really have no interest in having one unless they update their board to give VW capability.

There are so many good options out there now that have more advanced features at a fraction of the cost it just holds no interest for me.
If that's what tickles your fancy, go for it...but IMO it's fast becoming dated hardware.

I kinda agree my friend, but the ProV is in a league by its own, and incredibly well built. There is nothing "cheap" about it...

They do need to get with the times, no doubt..

Couldn't have said it better myself... I know a lot of folks won't spend the bucks on high quality equipment, but they don't know what they are missing until they have tried one.

I wanted one for sooooooooooooooo long saved for a long time and bought a Vamo instead.
love the minimal clicking and readability. If your saving for a Provari all good but I would push for them to get a chip update. They be falling a bit behind :2c:

Agreed with both of you :D Would still get one if they would just update their dance card.

I agree Zipper, and I wasn't trying to bash the Provari, but since having a taste of VW and taking into consideration the rapidly increasing quality of the competition I think sitting on their laurels for so long has let the competition get closer and even surpass them in some respects.

They still set the standard as far as build quality, linier voltage output and warranty but they don't do VW and don't accommodate some very popular devices without resorting to adapters. It is badly in need of a refresh if they want to stay at the top of the heap much longer.

I've seen this happen to many companies that have a product that blows the competition away only to stop there and watch while the competition innovates and passes them by. (Think blackberry here).
