The only issue that I see is that you may tap the hole in the deck where you don't have a coil installed, try to use a silica bushing from a clearo to make it fit in, because now you are getting some airflow where is not supposed to...
ohh and another thing, you need to enlarge your wicks to fill the 4 channels or it will flood all the way, my aqua is on its way and I also planning to try single coil there
Yes I have a piece of a toothpick in the air hole and in the other juice channels I have toothpicks and pacted with cotton.
I would like to get a dual coil build in it that will work on the SVD.
Also I am getting a metal taste, I cannot get good flavor.

dual coil with an svd might not work out to good in an aqua imo. the only way might be using 32g wire. as for a metal taste? this sounds like its just not wicking correctly.
Agree, to make the Aqua work with an SVD or VAMO on double coils you need a thin wire make 10 wraps of kanthal 32 for each coil, this will give you 2.4 ohms on each coil and a total of 1.2 ohms resistance.
For the metalic taste, what are you using? cotton or silica? I read that for silica 3 mm works fine on the Aqua, I guess that 2mm eckowool will work fine also... Cotton is more handy
