HCigar Gyro 35W SX300 tube mod?

Evidently this thing came out at the end of 2014 and I can't find much info on it. I've only seen one vendor with it in stock, for about $60. Looks like everything I want from a tube mod, but then there's always the SVD 2.0 in 18350 mode. Has anyone ever tried the hcigar Gyro out?

That's their dual-function mod that can be operated as either a mech mod or regulated, right?

I haven't seen anyone carrying them, but the concept is intriguing. I'm curious to know how well they work in both modes.

But it's just a standard regulated tube mod.


The Hcigar Gyro 35W is much more. It can be run as either a regulated mod OR A MECH MOD. With the Gyro 35W you have two top caps. One for regulated mode, the other for mech mod mode. You can swap back and forth by simply changing the top cap.

You can do both with it, and you can't do that with the SMY 40W.

The important aspect to me is the SX300 chip. I want that smooth output instead of 33hz PWM.
