The stock screws are total crap.
Yeah really!
I do probably tighten my screws down more than I need to, and using very thick wire is probably harder on them, but to have both strip out so soon is ridiculous. It seems like such a silly thing to cheap out on, otherwise the clone is very very nice, but they just decided to use horrible screws.
They also seem to pop the wire out more than any other screws on any other atty I've used. Especially when using twisted wire, or thicker wire in general it's a nightmare getting the wire to stay underneath the screw heads.
Now I'm hoping it's the screws that stripped and not the deck, it's hard to tell as both intact, but a bit flat. Maybe both the deck
threads and the screws are just worn to the point of not working well together, hopefully new screws will solve the problem.
Either way, hopefully somebody knows where they are sold, or at least what size they are.
