I checked-out the SJMY silicone bottle mod on YT, but decided there had to be a better way. Here is what I came up with...
1. Cut off the top of the VT Inbox OEM bottle, just under the shoulder.
2. Trim the shoulder off so that you are left with the neck section only.
Note: DO NOT cut the neck at the base (top) of the bottle. You are going to need the additional material underneath to bring the neck down to mate with the SJMY silicone bottle.
3. Invert the neck section and slide it onto the OEM tube and seat it to the brass stem.
4. Unscrew the top section + tube from the SJMY silicone bottle, and tuck it away for later use if needed.
5. Slide the SJMY bottle onto the new fitting, and you're good to go!
Doing this keeps you from having to unscrew the bottle and/or having to use a filler bottle via the 510 connector. Works like a charm - no leaking. When you're ready to refill the bottle, just pull it down, same as you would with the OEM Inbox bottle.
