Electronic cigarette smoking by the preponderance of the evidence available is at least 98% safer than smoking cigarettes. The nicotine in them though addictive, isn't the dangerous part of smoking as its on par with caffeine which is used widely. It is all of the added four thousand chemicals, and the process of burning them, that is highly dangerous for your health. Second hand smoke is dangerous for your health because they carry these chemicals in them. However the e-cigarette is a vapor, and there has been no evidence that this can harm a bystander as there is nothing in the vapor to harm a bystander with. The truth is that the e-cigarette is more effective for a person who wants to stop smoking than pharmaceutical products, with far less side effects, and a better success rate. Ironically, most of the side effects of using an electronic cigarette are the same ones people experience when they quit smoking.

I changed my first sentence on my letter ... to "Use of an electronic cigarette". It has been re-posted on one thread, and commented after on another. I cannot edit it here on ECF, so it will remain as is, at least in the paragraph it explains that the electronic cigarette produces no actual smoke. Though anyone with that power has my permission to do so.

On the second thread, I posted the comment which appears next to my comment, and shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

In my first paragraph, I badly phrase the term electronic cigarette smoking, which implies actually lighting the device on fire. Of course that is silly, and it implies simply using the device to produce a vapor. It should have simply said "Using an electronic cigarette." which is what I really meant.

There is no smoke produced from an electronic cigarette, it produces a vapor, and is a smokeless product.

*** Apologies, for the first sentence, I noticed it after the fact myself. It could be taken out of context, but in the paragraph itself, I hope that it isn't. I went about trying to fix that, and obviously had more luck with one than the other. ***

Thanks for pointing it out.

-----

So here we have an e-hookah, which produces no smoke, and isn't a hookah, that is actually an ecig, that isn't a cigarette at all, that does sort of produce vapor when used, while it works.

The above makes me laugh a bit though, because that was my first thought about the product itself, even if it does confuse.

This article is rubbish, but only us vapors know that, it's bad publicity, articles like this what holds the e-cig industry back. But we still have freedom of speech in this country which is good and people who publish these articles should have to have the facts before stating such untrue statements!

Wonder how many who publish trash are "truly" uninformed?
