So, i´ve been vaping exclusively since tuesday 16th! Not a single analog.

But the thing that I don´t like and even considering stop vaping, is that since the next day i started vaping my right lung hurts when i take a deep breath, and it hasn´t changed. Today no improvement in that aspect still having pain. I am vaping a 50/50 most of the time but 70/30 as well.

I think i´ll give it one more week and if the lung thing doesn´t resolve i´ll stop and start smoking again, never felt lung pain when i was smoking so definitely if pain persist vaping isn´t as healthy as i thought it would be.

One thing i forgot to share. Each morning when i wake up since i started vaping, i don´t feel good, i feel as how i feel when i´ve been partying too hard and smoking 20-30 analogs on a single night. I´m really feeling a bit disapointed i never thought vaping would make me feel this way in the mornings, and i don´t even vape that much, to be honest i vape less than what i smoked.

I smoked for over 27 years ...the last 5 years I noticed decreased energy, coughing more and more and for longer periods, Lot of phlem build up. Finally able to quit after trying many times over the past 20+ years. a little over 2 months vaping energy has returned, food tastes better, coughing is lessening each week, phlem is going away (albeit slowly). Absolutely feel healthier now that I have in the past 5 years!

Congrats

I'm sure it's healthier for you with the absence of chemicals and tar, but i've noticed I have been chain vaping so i don't know if it's any healthier. "Everything in moderation" doesn't really apply to me, maybe it'll be for you. Even with chain vaping, i've noticed that my energy is higher with a month of vaping so i guess that's some good news. also been noticing breathing improvements at the gym and swimming/running a bit longer.

It's possible that you might be allergic to the pg and maybe try a 100%VG liquid instead.
I've been off analogs since sept. 7th and I feel wonderful, no more coughing, no shortness of breath, etc. but I do see some signs I'm worried about that may be an allergic reaction. I have a sharp pain behind my ear, my sinus area has some pain and I had a very sore mouth and lips. So, I'm going to try a 100% VG liquid and see if these are allergy related.
Good luck with your journey, too.

And keep up the good work.

You really should cut the PG out, many people are allergic to it, would be a shame if you went back to smoking over something as simple as not selecting 100% VG. I'm a VG only guy for now.

gatag, I'm a longtime member here and rarely post anything. I had problems similar to what you describe. I now use 100% VG juice from cignot.com The type I get is called "ECOpure" I spent a lot of time and money looking for a juice I could tolerate. It might be worth a try. I buy the flavor called Rich 15mg. I also buy small bottles of "ECOpure Krystal 36mg". I add about 1 drop of the 36mg to each 5 drops of the 15mg to bring the nicotine up to about 18 or 19%.

Hi gatag & everyone else. The symptoms that you went thru is actually a withdrawal symptoms from quitting cigarettes and not from vaping. I'm new member here but been vaping for about 2 months now. I've been smoking analog for about 20yrs and there's once I've tried to quit and all the cigarette withdrawal symptoms came in. That was about 5 years ago and I started to smoke back after 6 months of quitting. What a waste right. And now I found e cigs and never been better. I breathe better, can smell my urine stronger. My children loves me more and my strength in sports definitely improves.

So gatag please don't quit be strong and Vape it or gape it....:p:p

Thanks guys!!!! you are amazing, what a helpful community.

Ohioguy; thanks for the tip, i´ll look it up. I can buy anything right now, i bought 120ml of e liquid, on top of the provari and other stuff i am kind of broke:(.

Zepellin: I thought of it. If it is withdrawal related i would be relieved to be honest.

My father a 40+ years pack a day smoker tried it and he is hugely impressed. He has to go through a minor surgery and he says after that he will get one too. I am actually very excited about it but at the same time cautious because of the things i mentioned.

He also asked me if there is a "Marlboro" flavor he wants that, now i know there isn´t an e liquid that reproduce the taste of real cigs but if anyone could give headsup on a liquid that recreates good that regular Marlboro flavor i will be grateful.
