Firstly, would those who have strong opinions regarding Propylene Glycol or Vegetable Glycol please refrain from turning this thread into a battleground for a PG v VG war? That is not why I started it.
I have started the thread to try and determine what possible health problems might occur when vaping. Personally I was having increased problems with my sinuses when using PG, so much so I had to see my doctor, who gave me a steroid nasal spray to treat what he diagnosed as rhinitis. The spray helped a little but not enough to make a significant difference. I changed to using VG liquid only and after a month found my sinuses had settled down and I no longer had breathing difficulties, blockages, runny eyes & nose etc. It would seem that I could well have an allergy to PG based liquids, although it could have been something else in the liquid that is not in the VG based one I use now that contains only VG, ethyl maltol and water.
Anyone else had problems like this?
I was going to post in the Health Forum - I'm sure I saw one once but now either can't find it or it has been removed? If there is one then feel free to move it there.

The worst sinus problems I had were when I was smoking ordinary cigarettes. I thought it was a chronic condition, but they have cleared up completely now I've been vaping for about 3 months. This not propaganda, just the simple fact.

This week though I've caught a cold, so gonna have a holiday from PG for a couple of days. It's good to have the VG alternative to hand.

Best,

C.
