heat causing gurgling protank

I sometimes keep my ego-twist in my pocket with a PT mini. The heat from my body causes the liquid to become watery and gurgly when I vape. Does anyone else have this problem? I can see this being a pain in the neck as summer approaches and I have my e-cig in my car.

I think more than anything, the heat causes the liquid to expand, and the only way out is through the wick openings causing the tank to flood.

We've had a hot couple of days here (over 90) and suddenly everything that was working well is either leaking, gurgling, or generally misbehaving..... I need to summer-ize my gear LOL

My protank leaked and gurgled if I looked at it. The heating of the liquid from your body heat will cause it to expand. A good way to keep it from leaking out on yo it to keep it upside down while not vaping it. This causes air to come out of the wick holes instead of liquid. I would also have a lot of gurgle and leaking when coming in from 0 degrees outside to the heat in my house or car.

A tip from CRXESS worked for me...take the Protank off your battery, place finger over the 510 connecter, put drip-tip in mouth, lean head back until the tank is vertical and blow up the drip-tip a couple of times. Blows any excess liquid out of the coil chamber and back into the tank. HTH
