um, what does 'she washed out bad' mean?

I enjoy biking, but my rear end does not. The bike I have is old and was owned by a friend much shorter than me; that could be the problem.

She got tired to the point that she almost quit... Sorry for not clarifying that earlier. Its been a busy day!!

Gosh, they are playing that ad over and over...the one of that 53 year old lady who smoked herself to death. She looks like Gollum. I guess she just died at age 53. One of those scared straight ads. They showed a photo of her when she was a teenage girl. Very pretty. The transformation is stark.

it all depends on the genetics I suppose.... my greatgrandmother ( dads side) lived on/owned a tobacco farm outside of Kivel Ky. She smoked from the age of 13 to the day she died at 103... she died from kidney failure not related to smoking...

and did you know that a nano coil on a HC 3.1 looks really kewl ;)

Does that have any issues with wicking? I've always been wondering about having an extra long nanocoil like yours, but wondered if the wicking to the middle could keep up with the heat and all

I'm sure DH would be more than happy to teach you. If I'm a woman, I'd have a compact, semi-auto in my purse (or vehicle) as well. I'm convinced a woman would not hesitate if she felt threatened. Better him than you. Right?

BTW, women purchasing firearms has skyrocketed in the past 5 - 10 years. I went to a gun show a few years ago and could not believe how many ladies were there with their BF's/husbands checking out firearms. A small 9mm (or similar) is a nice sized handgun for a lady to keep in her car.

A nice Walther P22 fits well in a clutch. Reliable little piece, to boot.

Nuh-uh - aunty Hula was glad that inot and Mrs inot were not at home, but aunty Hula also suggested that Mr inot baton down the hatches well and make sure he had a really nice "welcome gift" available should anyone decide to return.... I fully agree with Uncle Bronze on that one!

Inotfat. Bad news my Triangle brother. Unlike Hula, I would prefer to be home when the creep busts in (see pix below). Had a nice talk with the Sheriff a few years ago at my kitchen table. He said he likes that people take care of themselves. He said he'll help in any way he can including sending a mop and bucket crew if necessary.

We agreed, when seconds count the cops are only minutes away. :)

Me neither - actually it's probably good for the naughty boys n girls that I live in a secure building in an area with low violent crime and 24 hour security....:D

I pray I never have to use it...I do. But I would not hesitate or blink an eye if someone came in my house. Nor would I lose a wink of sleep.

Me either, Robin. I am going to learn to shoot though. A bunch of us from work are going April 10th to "Annie Oakely" night at the firing range. It's females only, FREE, you get lessons and ammo and they have revolvers, rifles and some other type (see I don't even know what they are called!). Learn safety and the basics and then target shooting.

I'm excited. Facing my fears, one at a time!

I had major issues with this string of ads. While scared straight is a good thing, there are many folks who suffer from the cancers/amputations et al they show who never smoked. I dunno, I just have a hard time for those who didn't smoke being tarred as another "well, you deserved it, you obviously smoked" Of course no-one deserves it, but it's especially insensitive to those who never did and ended up the same way.
