Thanks RJ, she's feeling much better now and the Dr. told her she has to slow down a bit and not try to conquer the world in one day.

Chak that is scary and I hope she continues to feel better. I'm glad you got her to re hospital quickly and she's doing better. I imagine it's hard to get her to slow down! She sounds like she's always going and busy! Hugs to you both

you had more than what you sent me??? I think one needs to re-assess the previously "final decision" on the point of possibly being a horder ummm a collector of quantity :)

Uhhh yeah....and I didn't give you the crappy bottles from Highbrow I have either. I was saving em to do DIY but never got a round to it.

hmmm okay.. got it now panama city beach, a vapin babe walking down beach with kewl hair and a cute bikini with a 26650 Panzer

we will find you :)

HAHA!! Come on down...I'd love an Army vape/drink meet with you two! April too! Anyone who will be near there next weekend just let me know. There are several bars within walking distance from where I'm staying, restaurants too, and other sordid shops we won't go into here. :sneaky: I'm already packing and I already got cash from the bank just waiting for me to spend. I can't WAIT! I may try to find a vape shop there too. WOOHOO!

First off though, had to take Mama Chak to the hospital yesterday morning. She was up at the crack of dawn Sat morning made waffles for breakfast came upstairs to take a shower. As she's coming out of the bedroom, she took a couple shuffling steps then called out "Daddy, come here right now". We shuffled back into the bedroom and she started balling her eyes out. Somethings terribly wrong papa.

Her speech was coming out really slow and not all too clear, she could hardly walk at all. So we changed clothes and rushed her to the hospital where they diagnosed that it was a minor stoke. She spent the night in the stroke unit for observation and we just got home a couple hours ago with some new meds and adjustments to the old meds. Talk about scary!

    Prayers going out. :nun:

Good Morning Army. First and foremost; Chris, be there for Mama Chak. Make whatever arrangements need to be made, she's worth it.
Bridgette, once upon a time (1992) we were feeding my younger Brother (28 and fallen on hard times), Older Stepson (19), his girlfriend (18), son (14), daughter (12) Mamaw and I. $200 a week, plus Loaf of Bread/ Dozen Eggs/ Gallon of milk a Day. Supper consisted of: Family Pack (16- 20) Pork Chops, 2lb Macaroni, 1/2lb shredded Cheddar, three Large Cans Veggies, 1/2 Loaf of bread, Gallon pitcher of Sweet Tea (with another pot already brewed for after Supper). An hour later the 'Parade' to the Fridge would start again. Oh, the Memories...

Enjoy the Weekend Y'all, and Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Wow papaw, that's a lot of money considering the year you're talking about! I consider myself thrifty about shopping for groceries and rarely can I get out for under $300 for 2 weeks of groceries and a small amount of stock up items. If I see a good sale I always buy more than needed at the moment trying to save money later (it never actually works out that way lol)

The best thing I used to do was went to the meat market once a season, dropped about $400 on loads of meat and that made grocery trips much cheaper, plus the meat was local hormone free stuff. The hard part right now is finding that $400 to do it with so we are only buying bare minimum amounts. Every couple weeks we have 2 or 3 days of almost empty cabinets and fridge and I'm getting creative about what I can throw together to make "a meal" lol.

I don't even know why I put that whole ramble there sorry LOL

Papaw's Goulash : 1lb Hamburger, 1lb Macaroni, 1 1/2lb Jar Ragu, good squirt Maple Syrup, 1 tsp Brown Sugar, 1 tsp Red Pepper.
Combine Tomato Paste, Syrup, Brown Sugar and Red Pepper, simmer while browning Hamburger in fry pan and boiling Macaroni.
Strain cooked Macaroni, butter noodles and place in Large Pot.
Add Hamburger and Sauce, and stir.
Set pot in middle of table and say, "There...."

    Good morning, Army!!

Chak, glad that you're there for Mama Chak, and glad that she's feeling better. That's scary how it happened out of the blue. Stay well Mama Chak!

Hula, there's a pivotal moment in the film (no spoiler), that completely proves your point, but then being descendants of Apes, it makes sense that we possess the same characteristics but have honed it further into a skill. I speak of cruelty to others that share this planet with us.

    Have an awesome Saturday, y'all!
