Chak, I've been dieting since around mid March, and lost a quick 10 lbs due to my cancer scare in April. That puts it at about 2 lbs/week which is considered good. I feel great too. I want to lose 28.8 more, but we'll see. I was that weight 7 years ago and loved it. I was one pound away from my full 9 month pregnancy weight. 8-o Just let myself go and I'm so disgusted. My coworker walking buddy friend and her husband have each lost 21 pounds.

Do you have a goal weight gt? You are doing fabulous!

Are you sure it ain't your kidneys MP ? Kidney stones hurt front and back , the pain is an eleven on a scale of ten , damn near unbearable .
That's the first thing I thought of too, but didn't want to scare him. No experience with them personally but I know kidney stones cause unbearable pain.

Good Sunday Morning Army. Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

I just went to check on an old friend, EddardinWinter. Haven't heard the Lion roar via Tap talk lately. Apparently no on else has either, as he hasn't posted on ECF since June 11th.
Does anyone know what's up with the Lion ?

He's doing some home renovations. Painting yesterday. (Facebook)

What Bridget said :)

He's also taking a little break from the forum to do stuff that he's been putting off for a while. New floor in his dinning area, painting today etc....

Good morning Army :)

Well ended up in the emergency room tonight. Just got home and I'm nauseous and exhausted. I apparently have an indestructible infection, so more rounds of antibiotics yay (not)..

Bad part is this is really setting me back yet again. Can't even take it one day at a time, right now I'm just counting it a minute at a time.

Sorry for being Debbie downer again. Hope everyone has a good night
Sorry your recovery is taking more time. Hope they get it under control soon.

Unfortunately I do have experience with kidney stone , I had them twice when I was in my thirties , only time in my life I was given morphine , the ER doc said that he could amputate my leg without anaesthesia and it would hurt less and I believed him , crippling pain front and back , these days they break stones up with sound waves but they didn't have that at the time and I had to pass them , best to get things checked out if it is kidney stones and they block things for too long you're in big trouble .

I once knew a woman who was 7- 8 months pregnant with her third child and passed a kidney stone. She claimed she would take Labor over kidney stones any day of the week.
I think I've also heard somewhere that calcium (milk, ice cream, dairy) and caffeine (coffee, tea) are needed to form kidney stones. But I could be wrong about that....

My goodness my hair is frizzy :)

Welcome to my world! Holy humidity, especially in Alabama. I usually put mine up a little damp in a half pony and let it sit like that for a few hours and then take it down. It helps contain it. *giggle* I used a little bit of blow drying on mine yesterday (I quit using heat 3 years ago) and a half pony and took it down later. It made it stick straight. :?:

Ah the only drawback of living in Florida!

why is there such a rage going on about dehydration and vaping?? seems as if everyone is wasting away and drying up since they vape...
I want to see some numbers before I believe the dehydration myth....

If you're talking about that one thread......she had issues before she even started vaping.

Humidity.. You have dry heat in AZ right? I battle it all the time here.

I finally quit battling and gave up. I comb it while in the shower after the shampoo and conditioning, squeeze with a towel ( do not wrap or twist hair up in the towel ) scrunch hair from the ends pushing up. I have CURLS. I can't touch it after or it will frizz to double the size. If I'm going out, I will put product in my hair and pull some back into a half ponytail with a small clip.

My bangs are starting to get long enough to almost look decent. Not quite there yet. :(
