it wasnt that one... I realized there were pre-existing issues
its all the other ones that are popping up ( possibly due to that one) and some others that had been circulating about before hers...
too many knee jerk reactions and not enuf thought as to why things happen....
Ive got a small bottle of VG open on the shelf in my room and the volume hasnt changed a bit, so its not absorbing water... :)
and the humidity down here has been in the upper 90+%

I finally quit battling and gave up. I comb it while in the shower after the shampoo and conditioning, squeeze with a towel ( do not wrap or twist hair up in the towel ) scrunch hair from the ends pushing up. I have CURLS. I can't touch it after or it will frizz to double the size. If I'm going out, I will put product in my hair and pull some back into a half ponytail with a small clip.

My bangs are starting to get long enough to almost look decent. Not quite there yet. :(

I gave up too. Only used the flat iron a couple times in the last few months. I might have to try the shower comb out without towel. I have curl also. Gel or mousse is a necessity every day.

Co washing and "plopping" really helped my curls a ton when it was longer. It got so healthy I stopped using all products except a dab of gel or something if I really needed it to lay down good. Check out the "curly girl method"

anyone seen Tnt lately??

Nope.

Good Sunday Morning Army. Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

I just went to check on an old friend, EddardinWinter. Haven't heard the Lion roar via Tap talk lately. Apparently no on else has either, as he hasn't posted on ECF since June 11th.
Does anyone know what's up with the Lion ?

See below...

That's the first thing I thought of too, but didn't want to scare him. No experience with them personally but I know kidney stones cause unbearable pain.

He's doing some home renovations. Painting yesterday. (Facebook)

What Bridget said :)

He's also taking a little break from the forum to do stuff that he's been putting off for a while. New floor in his dinning area, painting today etc....

Good morning Army :)

What they said... ^^^^ Papaw.

Chak, I've been dieting since around mid March, and lost a quick 10 lbs due to my cancer scare in April. That puts it at about 2 lbs/week which is considered good. I feel great too. I want to lose 28.8 more, but we'll see. I was that weight 7 years ago and loved it. I was one pound away from my full 9 month pregnancy weight. 8-o Just let myself go and I'm so disgusted. My coworker walking buddy friend and her husband have each lost 21 pounds.

Do you have a goal weight gt? You are doing fabulous!

I just think I need to get more active and cut down on the beers and sweets.

My goodness my hair is frizzy :)

Welcome to the tropics, April! Having a good time I hope.

So Craig needs to check in again so we continue to diagnose him.

Who's giving the anesthesia?

I've done both of those....conditioner only washing and plopping. But now that mine is white I have to use special shampoo. My favorite thing in the whole wide world is coconut oil. I use the Nutiva brand since it's unrefined and all natural. My hair loves it. I use coconut oil for everything else too. Sometimes I'll put a little bit in my coffee. Burns. My son's shoulders got sunburned the other day and it knocked the heat right out. I swear by coconut oil. I use it for suntan lotion too. I gave some to my coworker and it literally CURED her son's eczema. I'm not surprised...it's a miracle product. If I have fly aways or frizz...I'll rub some between my hands and smooth it down.

I once knew a woman who was 7- 8 months pregnant with her third child and passed a kidney stone. She claimed she would take Labor over kidney stones any day of the week. I think I've also heard somewhere that calcium (milk, ice cream, dairy) and caffeine (coffee, tea) are needed to form kidney stones. But I could be wrong about that....
No you're right , two types of kidney stones acid and calcium , both caused by metabolism problems , mine was calcium , I'm supposed to limit dairy intake

Former coworkers tried the no-poo thing and gave up. I'm not sure conditioner will wash away the 5 miles of sweat I just did. Yep, I ran all 5 miles.. 73 degrees with 83% humidity. next stop- ibuprofen bottle, then shower. I am ripe..

Ok Always, I tried it anyway. Only conditioner, no towel drying, combed it out in the shower.

RJ, can you link that long hair website?
You have to use conditioner without "cones" for it to work right. The silicone products will build up and leave ya with a greasy mess. My favorite was suave coconut. Took it about 2 weeks of weird to really settle in but I loved it after that. Now that my hair is pretty short I do it part time, it doesn't work as well for some reason for me when it's short.

The Long Hair Community

Click on "forum" on the top left and all the different sections will pull up. I tend to hang out in the Mane Forum although I've never posted there. They even have an entire thread on what they call "renegrays". They have given me so much information on growing my hair longer and not using heat and oiling and satin pillow cases and cutting it myself and no coloring and gray hair and using a tangle teezer brush and so much stuff! Some of their pictures of their hair are mind blowing. I mean beautiful ankle length hair. My goal is waist length and we'll see after that. I used to have tailbone length hair but I've been chopping it the last 3 years to get rid of the dye. I've still got damage to my scalp from abusing my hair and scalp all my life. I also "root" into my pillow when I sleep on my right side and my hair is damaged there too. I'm working on it. :)

Still in pain. It's my left side of the upper back. Nothing else hurts.
I jumped on the washing machine the other day and that's when the pain started. Yesterday like an idiot I ran around the house with the dogs for a good 20 minutes.
Stayed home from work today and if I feel the need to do so again tomorrow, I'll check in to a first med of some sort.
Suck because tomorrow is the last day of the month on scorecard and as of today I'm in first on the team. I haven't been number 1 yet and basically gave up. I really want to be number 1. I bust my ...
