Good morning! Coffee is tasting extra yummy and it's a glorious Autumn day outside. Warmer than normal. Since we live on a pretty mountain road, we get to hear all the biker groups passing by, out for group rides to mark the ending of the season for them. Last night when we returned, there was a doe and fawn lying in our yard, nestled in for the night. Later, in the cornfield at the end of our yard, foxes were noisily mating. If you haven't heard their shrieking - well, it doesn't sound like a happy thing.
Turns out we ventured into the opening day of the annual Chestnut Hill Harry Potter festival, during the pub crawl and costume contest. Lotta lightning bolts were in the house. The butter beer was delish - tasted like old-fashioned cream soda.
