I figure that with all the bells and whistles the P3 has, three sizes all ready for you, color that you can change at your leisure, the power boost capability <~~Loving that one! It will be worth the price...for me. I am not, nor ever will be, interested in more power than the Pthingy will deliver. Heck, I hardly take it up to 4.0 as it is.

At the end of the day, it just a device that supplies the power to whatever you have attached to the top. If the device can't supply the power you need, buy a different device.

I think the Lion might have more luck if he bought you a Provari Cheerleader Outfit.. yes?!

Agree. If it fits your needs and budget, buy it. If it doesn't, then don't buy it.

I want to experience that boost feature.

Seems I should have. No pain really. Disruptive discomfort is how I would put it. I can see why people hate dentists but honestly I'm not scared of them. I never had any outright pain. It's just a PITA to lay there that long with my jaw cranked open and a bunching of poking and grinding going on. Worst part was breathing. Inhale through nose, exhale through throat. They really did a nice job. That was my 4th crown (5th if you count one that was replaced). The first one cost me like $600. :) They said this one required "building up" and that added $250 or so. He kept warning me he might strike the nerve with his dremel thingy and prepare. I asked him how one prepares for something like that. No answer. He never did hit it. I have to say, I'm not a baby when it comes to dental work. He even said I will be the easiest patient he has all day. I just lay there and let them do what they need to do, shut my mouth while they have my mouth open, pay my bill, and leave.

Man, we love patients like you. My 2:00 today apparently needed to feel like I was "at her service". And one man last week got hateful, but just because he was scared to death. Fear comes across in weird ways sometimes.

I just remind myself how horrible dental work must have been 200 years ago. We have it made in the shade! I don't know what these people expect. I really don't. And the more you fight it the worse it is. Just let them get in there and do what they need to do. They'll be happy, you'll be happy, everyone will be happy. It's really not that bad. I did have to stop them once in the beginning. I couldn't breath. That never happened before. The assistant called it "drowning". So I caught my breath and then learned to inhale with my nose and exhale through my mouth. Was fine once I figured that out.

I always behave myself in the dentist chair..just close my eyes and try to think about something else. With my quarterly deep cleaning I really just need to remember to bring my Ipod...seriously the noise of the little machine she uses to suck my brains out of my teeth bothers me..it's not really pain:laugh:

The Provari is an awesome mod and the P3 will only be better. I just really prefer the box style mods. I still have too many mods evening after selling some (just kept buying more). I will sell one of my Reos once they return from a spa treatment..just not sure which one yet. I did pick up a couple Isticks in a group buy. For the price they are a fantastic out and about mod. The batteries are not replaceable so not a forever mod...but a huge improvement over an Ego type battery for running around with. I was able to participate in a group buy and all my little bowling gals got an Istick..made me so happy.

I'd believe Dust before me. I'm just going be what I heard and I don't remember when or where or who I heard it from. In other words, I am an unreliable source. :) $249 sounds more realistic. The price of mods have risen quite a bit. I see ProVape keeping up with the times with their pricing as well as their technology.
It becomes a tough call , I've seen pre order prices on DNA 40 devices at the $210 mark .

PB likes it.

PB gets into the pulse width modulation on that iStick review I was talking about on the hardware thread the other day. At the lower voltage settings, you are getting (in effect) a full volt more power than what you have it set at. PB gave this part a huge thumbs down. I would too. Can't stand PWM...at least at those lower frequency levels. The iStick is only 48 hertz (I believe PB said). That isn't much more than the 33 hertz we saw on Lavatubes and VAMO's. Didn't think anyone would copy that agin after it failed on those other models. As I mentioned, the Provari is in frequency hyperspace somewhere (800 or 900 hertz something like that) and there is no differentiation between set voltage and what you are getting.

EDIT: PB ended up giving the iStick a thumbs down. And it was because of that low frequency pulse width modulation. I for the life of me do not know why anyone sells those things with that. It was tried in the past and rejected. This isn't as big an issue with mechanical vapers because mech vapers don't care so much about the power variations. But to a regulated vaper, low frequency PWM is, at best, a pain in theass. I hope they heed PB's advice and get rid of that on their next upgrade because it looks like a really nice little mod...and especially for the price.
