When I see Flasks selling for more than $300....

If your going for the Flask it's going to be that high along with a few others. The Vaporshark rDNA40 I think is $190 and the XPV DNA40 is currently $205. Yes prices on new tech are bound to be higher. But the DNA 30 models have dropped.

I have a lot of respect for PB and for all of you, but not everyone can afford a provari. Even with the shortcomings of the iStick it costs less than $50 and I have yet to see a poor review on it by anyone who uses them. I can't wait to get my own, I was going to get another SVD or 2 but will likely get iSticks instead.

If I could buy what I want, I would buy the vaporflask with DNA 40 board all day long over anything else.

I know some have been disappointed in the Isticks over power...but the majority of people will enjoy it and the size is awesome...I wouldn't be so forgiving if the price was higher
The size will feel a bit odd after using tube mods for so long, especially with Russians on them but I am sure I'll get used to it.

Bronze there was a LOT of argument about that stuff in the iStick thread before PB's video came out.

Bottom line IMO: The dang thing is a powerhouse. I charge it every 2 days, sometimes 3 days. No other batt has lasted like that for me.

It is a powerhouse...especially for the small size. A part of that is because of the PWM. But that technology was roundly rejected because it would not give true output. I know lots of vendors got returns because vapers would say it would burn their juice. What, in effect it was doing was burning at a volt higher than what people thought so they thought their device was defective. Again, if people don't mind power variations (like mech vapers) then this is not as big an issue. But to regulated snobs like me who have to have the drag be the same as the last one, PWM is a cross to a vampire.

The size is excellent and for only $50....that is what is attractive about it. And they could easily solve that PWM issue and my bet is they will on their next version. I like the Vaporshark for it's small profile too. But as David points out, it is $190.

The iStick goes for 30-35$ on ebay. I researched the seller first, as I don't use ebay much. I think I paid $33.
So it has the battery built in, does anyone know the brand of battery they are using and if they are consistent? That is the only thing that worries me.

PB said it could be got for less (as you proved). I think his came with extra doodads including some "free" juice (Whoop-D-Doo).

That was actually one of PBs better reviews. He had all the pluses and minuses down pat. When someone gets as popular as PB, he will attract dissenters. But I have to say, he still remains one of the better reviewers out there. He hasn't let the celeb status get to his head as it pertains to putting out objective, comprehensive reviews.

That is kind of a neat mod. But for $300+ forget it.
I got to play with one of them at a local store. They are fantastic! The way they feel, the way they look, the build quality.... All of it is worth every penny.

We even tested it to see if it would stay stable on a table and it was not impossible to knock over but dang near.
It doesn't fit in the pocket well but I can live with that, if I want to go out and need to put my gear in my pocket I would take something smaller anyways.

Yes, it's an integrated battery. Don't know the brand. PB pulled it out of the iStick and you couldn't tell. Not sure what you mean by consistent.

He is the only guy on YouTube I can watch when it comes to vape gear, comes across as a regular guy having fun playing with toys. The other guys want us to think of them as celebrities and are beyond annoying.

Ya I saw the video when he released it. I mean like all the batteries being quality, with it being integrated if one lasts a few months and going out would suck.

I was just wondering if anyone has seen anything else on those batteries. Would be nice to know the brand and where they come from.

Some people should not be doing reviews. :)

"This thing is ... awesome, Man! This is the best ... dripper I ever ... vaped in my ... life. ... buy one, Man!"

They lose me when every other word is the F-bomb.

Ya or their only concern is if the vapor cloud fills the entire room and lingers for half an hour.

Much more important things to consider lol

RipTrippers actually does fairly good reviews for the most part. I just can't deal with his hyperactive style. My eyes go to twitching just two minutes into his vids.

I watch some of his stuff on building unconventional coils, the guy is like an artist with that stuff. But I'm with you, if he took a deep breath and relaxed he would be a lot easier to watch. I feel like I need a nap after watching his stuff lol

I was googling e-cig stuff awhile back and I read some stuff he wrote that wasn't on a video review. He's actually a nice guy. He was responding to people who were being ugly and nasty to him. He never lost his cool, never called them names, but instead was being positive. I kind of admired him for that. Doesn't mean he still doesn't make my eyes twitch but I think he's a good guy nonetheless.
